Read moreMy granddaughter has been going to Fun & Fitness Gymnastics in Richmond, TX for some time now, and I canât help but feel uneasy about an recurring issue with one of the women at the front desk. Whenever picking my granddaughter up, I like sitting in the front desk area. I can't help but notice this young lady (more times than not) consistently speaking negatively about others â be it fellow parents, staff members, or children â and it truly feels uncomfortable to me. I've noticed that her attitude often comes across as rude and dismissive, which makes me feel like she believes she's above everyone else. Her demeanor raises questions for me about whether she is related to the owners, as she seems to believe that she can just act however she wants and doesn't even conceal her remarks or hide her negative attitude. To make matters worse, her one co-worker seems to think it's funny too. Just today she made fun of two coworkers and a father leaving with his son all within 10 minutes.
It really upsets me to witness such negative atmosphere right at the entrance of an establishment that should be welcoming for parents and children. You should not be making fun of a father that helps pay your check.
I sincerely hope that management takes this complaint seriously, as it has been a concern of mine for quite some time now and I am not the only (grand)parent that notices it. If I see this happen again, we will take our granddaughter out of your program and look for an alternative. The only reason I've been hesitant to do so, is because my granddaughter absolutely loves her coach.
PS: After making this review, I took the time to read other reviews and it seems to me that the horrible attitude employees openly display, seems to be a reoccuring issue. I actually really like our coach and this is not directed at her. I cant help but wonder why the management does not do an etiquette training with it's employees. It does not help to answer the reviews here on google to mask the issues at hand, but not do anything to address...
Read moreParents Beware! Parents need to be warned about Fun & Fitness Gymnastics! We signed up our kids and their friend for big Splash Day Summer camp today which was advertised as a big event having inflatables and slip n slide and to bring a dry change of clothes.
There was no slip and slide, one small slide for 65 kids to share, a small bounce house and water balloons, and no gymnastics for 8 HOURS. It was a total money grab for their $300 worth of 2 small inflatables. I have rented much larger slides in my backyard.
But the part that was really concerning was for lunch, they shoved all 60+ kids in ONE party room for an HOUR, closed the door and wouldnât let them leave with nothing to do. Kids were done eating in 15 minutes. My 10 year old son who is very sensitive let the coach know he was getting a headache from the noise and all the kids screaming in that small enclosed space. The âmean coachâ Ms. Cassidy sternly told my son he had to stay in the room for the whole hour. She did not care about his headache and treated him very badly. I am livid about this. There were no activities to do and it was totally disorganized.
We picked up the kids and their friend 3 hours early because they all called letting us know how mean this coach was, how disorderly everything was, and how there was nothing left to do and no gymnastics. We have never had this happen anywhere else.
I called to discuss and the front desk manager Mariom kept talking over me and repeatedly interrupting me gloating about how great they are and how theyâve never had anyone complain while I tried to talk about my sonâs sensitivities and his headache. The lack of care or concern was very upsetting. I lost it and had to finally hang up as she wouldnât stop rudely talking over me!
I have heard from friends who quit this gym because of this âvery mean coachâ but I waived it off. I donât know if Coach Cassidy is the owner, and if not, the owner...
