Pho Queen — Restaurant in Katy

I am very familiar with this restaurant. Two weeks ago, when i got in they had all the delicious food like fried rice, and lo-mein noodle, also shaking beef dishes, were one of the best in Texas. I really wanted to come back. Surprisingly, I came back two days ago. Maybe they changed the owner? Totally completely picture, these favorite food like fried rice, lo-mein noodle, and shaking beef dishes are not available anymore. They used to serve Thai tea, and Vietnamese coffee were one of the best, and now nothing like that, no Thai tea, no Vietnamese Coffee. Two weeks ago, table server usually bring glass of water for you, most of the time was ice water, at least it was nice complimentary. Now is nothing. The table server was very young and unprofessional without respectful at all. Since i got in, it is very shocked me. I got no choice, so i ordered Chicken Bowl Pho, it is a very comment pho in Vietnamese restaurant, but the way they boil the chicken is horrible, very horrible, and it was very hard like a rock to chew this boil chicken. It is very hard to make money now a day, i don't want to give this restaurant the hard time. I ate a lot of vietnamese food since i have a lot of vietnamese friend to hang out, but it is unacceptable. You guys need to improve to better business, must have shaking beef, lo-mein noodle, better table server to be more professional, more fried rice dishes, and there was also the special noodle dishes were good, more Thai ice tea, and more Vietnamese coffee. I ate a lot of vietnamese restaurant, you need to improve to have better quality of the food. Remember, there is one life to live, we have to eat...

Today is the 3rd time I ordered take out order at Pho Queen and it will also be the last time to visit this restaurant. I call in ordered the combination rice plate. When I got there to pick up my food I checked my order it was correct except they forgot to put in the soup that supposedly to come with the rice plate. So, the gentleman that works at the cashier brought my food back to the kitchen and I waited a few minutes he brought my food out with the soup. Since I already checked my rice plate in the togo bag earlier, I assume all they do is to put the soup into the bag so I didn't check my food again. After 30 minutes drives home to Rosenberg , I opened the bag and it was a completely different order. I got egg roll vermicelli instead of my combination rice plate. I called the restaurant immediately but No one answer the call. I called the restaurant 4 times and still no one answer. I decided to use my work phone to call and they finally answered my call because it is a different phone number. Wow , they freaking ignoring my call !! So, I asked them why they ignored my call and they didn't have an answer. But they obviously knew that they messed up my order. They apologized and willing to offer me a same order for free when I come in next time. I do not trust this restaurant anymore and I'm so disappointed. I'm not going to waste my time and gas just to go back to get some...

The low rating is strictly based on service. My wife and I ordered 2 lunch specials, a vermicelli bowl and a rice plate both with grilled pork. The Vietnamese eggroll that came with the meals were good. My wife got her bowl within 10 minutes of ordering and I was told my plate was coming shortly. I waited for over 10 minutes before inquiring with the server at the counter about my food. He said that "it takes a while to grill the pork and to prepare the meal" and to give it 1-2 more minutes. I know that is not true because my wife ordered the same grilled pork and she got the bowl in less than 10 minutes. But I took his word for it and waited another 7 minutes (I timed it this time). I asked again about my food and was told to wait a bit longer. I decided to cancel my order. The 3 servers at the counter stood there without any apology or explanation and proceeded to charge me for 2 meals. I objected and paid for one but he still made me pay for my iced tea.
