I came into this GameStop location around 7:05 pm on October 5th, 2025 with the purpose of trading in a phone to purchase a Nintendo Switch 2 for my childâs birthday. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing.
The associate working at the time was on her phone and unwilling to assist. She stated there was a âstore ruleâ that trades could not be done within an hour of closing because it takes too long. Not only was she dismissive, but she was also rude in her response.
Because of this, I had to take extra time out of my evening to call another GameStop and then drive nearly an hour away to a different location, where they gladly assisted me with the trade-in and purchase.
It is extremely frustrating that this locationâbeing the closest to meâprovided such poor customer service, forcing me to go far out of my way to complete a simple transaction.
If you value good customer service, I strongly suggest avoiding this store. To the managers or higher-ups responsible for staffing this location, please ensure that employees are better screened and trained. Customers keep GameStop in business, and we should be able to expect respect, professionalism, and a willingness to help when we visit...

To preface, this is my go to GameStop and Iâm a pro member. I had a horrible experience on 1/26. We arrived to ask about the new Paldean Fates Pokemon card set products that just came out 1/26. We waited in line for 20minutes to talk to the single employee working the front desk. We had to ask as no new Paldean Fates product was stocked on the shelves. When it was finally our turn, we politely asked if the GameStop had the product in stock (we were told by the GameStop down the street that this GameStop had Paldean fates in stock). The man in blue latex gloves replied âif it isnât on the shelf we donât have it.â And we politely responded âit just came out today, so it may not have been unboxed and put out yet.â The employee replied âwe donât have it.â He didnât even attempt to look in the back or in his computer system. He was extremely rude and acted like he didnât want to be there. I just wanted to buy a few products to open for my family.    Read moreI walked In to the store around 3:00PM There was a young man at the register, he didnât bother to greet me and spaced out in his phone, I browsed around the store, then approached the front desk, said hello, guy didnât even reply just looked at me, I proceeded to ask about the game I came to purchase, then the sales associate asked me for what console although the game is on PS5 and PC. To my surprise there was another person sitting on the floor behind the register, she said we donât have a pre-owned copy, I replied thatâs fine, the guy asks me If I have a phone number, and at this point I didnât feel like sharing my contact with them because they were nonchalant about helping me, he offered me the $5 protection I politely refused. Then I was having some trouble on the terminal it wasnât as intuitive and I wanted to tap, so thankfully the guy with a indifferent tone said: I need to follow the prompts then I was able to complete the transaction.
