Manager for Wednesday night was extremely rude and unprovoked. Went through the drive thru and had a half sweet Tea and lemonade for my drink. While driving off I tasted that the sweet tea in my drink was EXPIRED UNsweet tea and since I’ve already waited 15 mins for my food and my fries were already cold, I didn’t have time to come back immediately to replace it so I only ate my burger after paying for a full combo. 45 mins later i came into the lobby to pour out the unspecified liquid they called a drink and replaced it myself bc as a former employee Ik that the sweet tea they have in the kitchen is different than the one in the lobby and If I had any issues I could just ask the team member up front to replace it instead of being inconsiderate causing a scene and delaying the drive thru lane for my multiple complaints. I was replacing my drink minding my business and as I’m getting the lid the manager comes out of nowhere to tell me that there is an (unwritten rule) that once I leave the premises I can’t use the same cup for a refill. I told him the situation and all he did was proceed to give me an unreasonable attitude and encourage me to pour out what I already had in my cup.As a MANAGER, this type of behavior is unacceptable especially since I didn’t complain about the multiple mistakes your staff made for me to be in this position in the first place. There is no reason as a man you are raising your voice and picking an argument with a female customer that was minding her own business over a $2 drink. I hope he uses the same capacity he has for non existent rule following to change their Teas as often as they are supposed to and to correct your staff. P.S. didn’t even apologize or offer any compensation for the wait or cold fries or the expired/ potentially...
Read moreOrdered 2 large chicken bite orders with gravy and a side of honey butter. We were on our way to san antonio so we went thru the drive thru so we would have food to eat on the road. They had only put the extra sauce ordered and no white gravy for either order. I didn't complain at that time that the chicken was over cook and dry and fries were obviously left under a lamp, but just that i didn't receive my gravy for either order. They had told me to come back another day and they will remake my order just keep my receipt and ask for the girl I spoke to. The next visit the balding brown shirt manager laughed at me and my wife and said he would only give us gravy and then he said one meal. Not being at a flea market I didn't intend on bargaining; especially for food, offended by his attitude, demeanor and tone I demanded my receipt back and left the complete order. I work hard and in no way was trying to obtain something I didn't deserve or had not paid for. After trying to call for a few days I gave up and boycott this location I tell my neighbors and friends what had happened to me and wife and how we were treated here, the night I went hungry. The whole experience and how that person in charge handled it. I payed for chicken and gravy. If I had wanted to eat just dry chicken I could have went somewhere else. Im much to picky just to shove food down my mouth. I paid for the experience of eating whataburger chicken pieces and gravy that's not what i received. The food here is not cheap and is a treat for most to be able to afford to eat it. I don't eat out to fill my stomach. It's a privilege to be able to eat at a fast food establishment and I expected much better with where I chose to go and was only entertained by error and ...
Read more1st time we ever had a bad visit to Whataburger. Two simple meal orders. One with a sprite and the other a strawberry Fanta. Pull up to thee windows and we get the drinks. We were asked to pull up while they prepare the chicken stripe order. 10 minutes later no food. Several cars pull up and drive off. I get out and go to the door near the drive thru. A yound lady meets me with our order. I go back to the car my wife checks the order. 1 chicken sandwich, 1 burger, 1 order of chicken stripe. No fries. The original order was a #2 add bacon with a sprite, #11 with a strawberry Fanta.
I went back to the door and knocked. This time a manager came to the door and I explained the order was not right. After repeating the order she said she took the order and I didn't order that. She said I ordered a #2 with a strawberry Fanta and chicken strips. I asked her well why did I get the sprite and strawberry Fanta if I didn't order two meals? She couldn't answer that question. She asked me to repeat the order to ger. I did. She said should would correct it. 10 minutes later, while I'm still standing outside my car, she comes out and ask me again what I ordered. I repeat it for the 4th time. She went back inside. 5 minutes later, a guy comes out with what is supposed to be our correct order. I get back in my car. My wife checks the order. 1 order of chicken strips, wrong sauce. A #2 (no bacon as requested), the original chicken strip sandwich, which we did not order rewrapped over the original paper it was wrapped in. After almost 45 minutes, my wife said forget it. Don't go back to try and correct it.
