The staff at Dunham's was awesome. Beyond awesome. Kind, helpful, knowledgeable. Every single one. I came in looking for a very specific blind chair that I couldn't buy online but their website showed as in stock. The price of the product was unbeatable compared to similar products. When I got to the store they did not have one on the shelf. The general manager took time out of his day to look all over for it. After coming up empty he told me sometimes their inventory gets updated when their supply truck ships and they would be getting that the next day. I was only in town till then so I called the next morning and was informed that it would take time for them to sort what they received but if they got it they would call me that day. Having received no call I dropped by about an hour before close to check once more before leaving town. I was informed by two assistant managers that they were apprised to what I was looking for and they had not seen anything. A little disappointing but really awesome that they were communicating. They took my name and info and offered to hold one for me, should they receive one, till I made it back to town in a few weeks, or, worst case scenario, ship it to their store in Fremont, which is substantially closer to home for me. Awesome. I'm in no rush. 5 minutes later as I'm driving out of town I get a phone call. They dug even further through some upper storage racks and found my chair. Couldn't be more pleased. As a guy who has been going to Cabela's in Kearney for over 30 years and seen their recent decline, I'm so very happy to see someone picking up the slack. Only request I have is more inventory and variety in ammunition, specifically shotgun shells. I mean, it's goose season and there is no 10 gauge ammo. Seems like an oversight. Some non-tox options other than steel would be awesome too. I did find lead free .22lr and .45 Hornady sabots and SST bullets that I have been struggling to find anywhere but online however so that feels like at least a wash to me. Overall, an excellent first experience. Dunham's got more of my money than I had planned to give them last weekend and if this experience is in line with their standard operations they will...
Read moreBy the end of.my first visit to your store, last Saturday morning I was very happy. I had a lot of shopping to do, but also wanted a treadmill. Walked around the store twice seen a lady at the register and and a lady putting clothes away. So I walked around a bit zoning in on the treadmill area. However, I proceeded with my clothes shopping. Couldn't really believe the lack of employees. Certain, it's designed like a self-serve discount store. Clothing shoes, etc. Not really a ask questions sort of store. I finally a0proached the register and asked if I could have some help in the treadmill area. I met the store manager and asked him about the advertised Nordic track with tilt screen which is advertised on the website. However, customer reviews stated be careful cause some wernt. After short discussion we determined that the one u had was not tilt screen. Both the manager and his cohort said they never seen one one with tilt screen despite offering to show it advertised on the web site. I asked about a treadmill mat ah we don't carry those you can probably order one online. Warranty no, we don't have warranty u can work that out with Nordic track, ifit membership no we don't offer those either. Delivery, no, we don't have delivery.
In summary, don't shop at Dunhams. Find a store that backs up their product. Find a store that provides delivery. Find a store that offers Ifit.
It's like a huge self serve discount store. That doesn't meet standard qualifications of discount stores. What a...
