Culver's fills a strange and rarely explored niche. A nice "fast food" style of restaurant where the quality is focused on more than the speed and for the most part it succeeds with flying colors. It explains why Culver's has grown so much over the past few years. Instead of ice cream, they offer frozen custards, (which for most will taste like ice cream), seafood, burgers, and even things like rubens. It really is quite an impressive lineup and not much more than a typical fast food place. Overall, it's a great concept and strongly executed. However, there is one Achilles heel to this place, one that I previously mentioned: the speed. When you go to Culver's you generally need to accept that it will take longer than the typical drive thru or fast food dine in and that's okay. However, I have seen times where that 'longer' goes to 'vastly longer wait times'. It can be a little frustrating but the food is worth the wait. Just never treat Culver's like it's a McDonald's or Burger King and...
Read moreWe went to Culver's and ordered through the drive through. At point in time I would have recommended this Culver's, however I can't say that I would now. I ordered two large meals and two large cheese curds. The chicken sandwich I ordered with tomato, lettuce and pickle did not have any pickles on it. And just like every time we go, our food was smashed into one single bag. So by the time we got home everything was soggy and smashed together. It's bad enough almost every time we visit we have items missing or something wrong with our food. There is no reason to shove everything in one bag after spending around $40 on food with no napkins. And for whatever reason the cheese curds were extra salty this time around. On the flip side, staff is...
Read moreMy best friend and I went through drive through and ordering was pretty good she was polite and patient, when we get to the window she was a bit rude at first and when my friend was putting his drink in the cup holder, she had her hand out the window and was waving the number to pull forward and was impatient and said sir while she saw my friend putting his drink away. We pull forward put the number on the window and waited patiently. The worker comes and grabs the number with greasy fingers and left smudges on a clean window. And she never asked if we wanted sauce. The reason I gave 2 stars is because the only things that were good was the drink and fries the 2 sandwiches tasted old and dry. We won’t be going back for...
