Caribou Coffee — Restaurant in Nebraska

I have no words for the service I received today. Normally I receive great service with the flamboyant man who tends to work, but today I had a different experience. First off, the drive-thru speaker was beyond quiet, so quiet I could hardly hear the low-toned man speaking to me through it. I had to constantly ask what he was saying, and talk over him making my order because I wasn't aware he was even talking. He started to sound annoyed at me for this, it's not my fault the speaker/headset was turned down to the minimum setting for some reason. I ordered 2 blended drinks, and 1 hot drink. I ordered a small blended, an extra large blended, and a hot drink large. I got a Large of everything.

To make matters worse, the man asked me if I'd like a drink carrier, and I said I would, and he proceeded to hand me drinks through the window so fast I could hardly keep up. I ended up driving away with one cup in my back seat, which spilled all over the place. If I ask for a drink carrier, give me one. If you offer it, DEFINITELY remember to give me one. 5 stars for quality of coffee. I've gotten bags of caribou coffee in the supermarket and was very excited to see a physical location to visit while traveling. I was even more excited to see that they offer gluten free bread options which is quite hard to find (for celiac reasons). My coffee was the correct order however my wife received the wrong kind of coffee (wanted blended not hot). The drinks took quite awhile to arrive so we weren't willing to wait for another one to be made. Luckily she enjoyed it quite a bit. I love to get new coffee mugs so I bought one from this store, it was weird that there were no prices marked on any of them or the shelves so they could have easily made up a price on the spot. The most disappointing thing was the availability of the gluten free items. There are 3 listed on the menu but all of them were out of stock. I may try to visit again on my way back through and get one of the gluten free items and update the review but as it stands now it was a bit of a let down on the service side of things.
