Jersey driving school — Local services in Kearny

I honestly cannot say how disappointed I was from my experience with this driving school. I wanted to use a school that was local so it could be more convenient and with limited options I chose Jersey Driving School. For my 6 hours to receive my permit, I had an instructor named Paula who was not attentive, vaguely explained rules, laws, and steps, and on multiple occasions had me pull into a plaza for bathroom breaks, just to disappear for 15-20 minutes. I of course would not mind having someone go to the bathroom, but my lessons never extended past our scheduled time despite time lost from her extended bathroom breaks. When I am paying around $600 for 6 hours, I would like my hours to be used up learning and practicing skills, rather than waiting in the car while my instructor is in the bathroom. Other than that instructor being unprofessional, the entire business is run poorly. You have to call multiple times to get an answer, they are not aware of updated forms with the DMV, do not complete paperwork correctly (put my address on my permit wrong and did not sign my permit: leading me to not be able to get my license without going back to their office, despite having already passed the road test and making a 20 min process a 2 hr back and forth hassle), do not reach out to you leading up to you road test until you contact them first, and are extremely unprofessional with owning up to their faults. On top of that, I don’t believe I would have passed my test if it wasn’t for getting a different instructor for a parking lesson right before my test (that I paid for since the instructor that got me my permit did not leave me confident in my parking skills). Neftali is the only reason this review is getting any stars and not 0, as he truly makes you confident and comfortable in your driving ability to be able to pass. I must say Jeff (the manager) is fairly professional and makes matters easy to deal with, but he needs to get a hold on other factors of the business. I want to share my experience with this driving school, even though it's been a few years they do deserve the recognition. I was missing 3 hours of driving lessons because the other school I was supposed to attend (aka NJ Driving school - not this one, the other one in Kearny.) simply ghosted me, they would not answer any calls and just left me stranded close to my test, totally unprofessional. This school however help me tremendously during the whole process, they reviewed my documents and helped me understand I had to take my written test again - something that I would've not known if I was with the other school - They helped me a lot, I would recommend them to...
