This place was recommended to me and I had had an awful experience on my first time. There was a mistake with my online order as they hadn’t received it. It was for pick up so the staff helped me resolve it. As I’m sitting down thinking they were preparing my order and the place is completely empty and I can’t help but notice that my order is taking extremely long, as an ice breaker I started asking questions about a drink they had that I have no clue what it was and just a simple response and my presence being completely ignored. One of the staffs just assumed I was waiting for someone and that my order mistake meant I didn’t want to eat anymore even though I was sitting down for more than an hour. If I was waiting for someone I don’t think I would’ve placed an order for pick up but actually dine in. When I questioned the staff member she mentioned how it was a misunderstanding from both our parts…no. You should never assume anything, asking questions for a factual understanding of the situation goes a long way rather than assuming and leaning on the counter while you ignore my presence. We’ve been going to this location for a very very long time, and sometimes we are there more than twice in 1 week. I must say how very disappointed and sad I am in the current customer service quality at the Kearny location. There this one girl that is never happy to see us have a meal there! We have experienced her negative vibe towards us on multiple occasions I believe her name is Less! I have ignored it for too long and today was my breaking point! I understand that the chips are on the house, however if the portions were not reduced we wouldn’t have to ask for more! Like come on!!!! Read moreThe food is good but i have to say that the service was really bad. My daughter went with her friend and they are students. The treatment that they received was unfair. A customer is a customer. They were not treated as everyone else that was there at the time that they went. My daughter really likes their food but she felt mistreated. If everyone gets chips and salsa on the table, the students should also. The funny part is that they were there after school hours, so they were paying in full price. Independently, if they are paying a student rate, you have to treat a customer with kindness and courtesy. I will never tell you that the customer is always right but in personal treatment, you have to treat someone the same way that you would like to be treated.
