I was having difficulty finding a wedding ring to match with my fiancé’s engagement ring because of its unique curvature and shape. Eventually I stumbled across William’s custom jewelry on google and thought I’d give it a shot after seeing some pieces he posted.

I went into the shop with a few rough ideas and met with William not sure what might be possible. After briefly taking a look at the ring and listening to us, he was able to come up with some great recommendations and worked with us to come up with a prototype ring design that would complement my wife’s existing engagement ring. William has the ability to do some impressive prototyping that really helped us understand what the final product would look like. William was also extremely easy to work with in helping design the ring.

The end product was fantastic. William was able to match the challenging curvature profile of the ring, secure the wedding band as interconnecting pieces by tweaking the existing engagement ring, and beautifully incorporate my wife’s birth stones. The design wraps around the existing ring while complimenting the curvature which must have been challenging to achieve. Somehow, the final design fit even better on my wife as it was more secure and it came out beautifully.

Initially I had planned to just get a basic band for myself but after seeing the work I asked William if he’d be open to making a ring for me that might complement my wife’s, and once again he over delivered. William was able to take some different ideas I had and incorporated them perfectly all while giving recommendations that would improve the durability, fit & finish, and styling that showed how extremely well studied he is in his craft.

Its special when you find someone who really cares about what they do and dedicated themselves to their craft, its even rarer to find someone who is humble and easy to work with in the process.

About eleven years after receiving my engagement ring, a diamond fell out of the band. I took it to a jeweler in the Las Colinas area and he botched it pretty badly -- replaced the diamond with one that was too small, and did a terribly sloppy job on the prongs. A year later, after he had supposedly redone all the prongs, two more stones fell out of the band. I took it to William to see if he could fix it. It was a bit of a complicated fix since the gold on the band had worn down over time and needed to be built up again in order to have the small diamonds set securely. He did a great job and my ring looks soooo much better. He also replaced the prongs on the center stone and made them neat and square, which I greatly appreciated!

We went to Mr. William to have my wedding set sized up and soldered after 30 years. After meeting with him and seeing what beautiful rings he had in the store, we decided to add an eternity band which was a dream for us. We always thought it would be too difficult to add a diamond band because of the bend in the ring, but after discussing with Mr. William, we felt very comfortable with him adding to the ring.
