The reason this gets 2 stars is because they tried. Reason for loss of stars- 1) pizza really was bad, burnt bottom crust, no flavor raw and doughy. The cornmeal was caked on the bottom. I sent my Margareta pizza back. The first time was no basil at all. 2) husband did not get his pizza until 20min were left in the movie. We were told it was almost done , then it's just going in, then done finally was admitted to that it was never made and now just going in. 3) the owner / manager proceeded to make fun of the governor and restrictions put into place by the department of health due to covid19. I didn't feel it was appropriate with kids around. 4) after ordering online at 1000 this morning for a 630 pm show , large popcorn had unlimited refills so I placed a order for it. Refills were refused because of restrictions. A small popcorn was handed out to make up for the mistake. For husband's late pizza we got a gift card. So thats where the star comes in... and the servers where nice.

The Kelso Theater Pub is a welcome flashback to a simpler time where $8 gets you first-release films, and you can enjoy pizza crafted with local ingredients and adult beverages while you watch the big screen. First time was a hit and we don't plan on being strangers.

We have been here a few time and said we would never go back, paying the same to see a movie in a run down theater that you can to go to the big new theater is ridiculous. Well we decided to give it a try again, only because my boss gave me a gift card for Christmas. A FB special was being run if you ate at the BackStage you got half pice movie tickets. I called to see if this was good to order from the backstage and eat at the movie she said yes. We get there and are informed that is not the case but the owner honored it. We arrived at 5:50, ordered and paid for our 3 entrees and proceeded to find seats. By 6:30 we still had not gotten our food so I went to the counter to be greeted by a lady who shouldn’t be in customer service as she was super rude and said we will get our food when we get it. At 6:45 we finally get our food and it’s aweful! I ordered mine without onions due to the fact I’m allergic, I eat a couple of chips that I was told would be basic potatoe chips similar to lays. When I realize they aren’t I return to the counter and am ignored by the rude lady running the counter and then am greeted by the chef. I ask what kind of chips those are and he said something Hawaiian, I asked I they were sweet Maui onion and he said yeah those are them. I proceeded to explain I’m allergic to onions and ordered w/o them for that reason. Not one of the three who are now standing there staring at me are the least bit empathetic towards me and their major mistake. All they can say is they will take my information for their insurance company. I dint request to speak to th owner about getting a refund because $50 of my $65 bill was on a gift card and there was no freaking way I would want that put back on it or be offered some sort of comp for a free movie or dinner. Upon leaving there was at least 6 other dinner orders that were not filled and that to me is just crazy to think about. I can see potential in this place but man the management needs to get it together in a major way to...

Ive been here twice and had completely different experiences. The first time was great. The food was good and the server was friendly and the food came pretty quickly. Pasta was made fresh and the rest of the food was pretty good. Although the server did seem confused And got the order wrong even though there was only one other table of two the whole time we were there. Now onto my second experience. It was AWFUL!!!! We decided to try their pizzas and cheese bread for family dinner night and I will never make that mistake again. First of all it was 75 dollars for 2 large pizzas and 6 of the smallest pieces of cheese bread ive ever seen. The bread was so stale and over baked it was hard and completely inedible. Both of the pizzas were burned and the combo didn't even have fresh ingredients. The mushrooms were from a can and the green peppers were in huge uncooked strips. I would possibly try back again for the pasta but I'm soooooo disappointed with the pizzas and no one will even eat them. You should update your menu prices on your website as well... the highest priced pizza on your menu is 26 dollars and I was charged 28 just for the pepperoni and 33 for...

I thought the concept was great, but the execution not done well. It is past charmingly worn down and is in need of repairs. I would have loved to have this as a regular date night with the hubby, but unfortunately will not be back unless changes are made. It took several relocations to find a seat that was not broken, the tables are mounted too high and far from the seat to coordinate eating. It was confusing to order from the affiliated Italian restaurant next door. On a positive note, the food from the neighboring restaurant was delicious. There was no accent lighting to eat the meal during which my husband's plate spontaneously broke in half. We could not see where broken glass fragments might have contaminated the food. We brought the dish to the front and a comment was made it has happened before. My speculation would be the food was heated in the dish which was not rated for the high heat. Either way it was not safe for the diner. The table and floor in our surrounding area were dirty. If they only run a show a day, this is from night(s) before. I would like to return once the owner(s) take more pride in the experience. A little elbow grease is...
