Good Sushi. Will return.
PS - Read Galaxies Edge by Nick Cole and Jason Anspach; here's a taste of it:
Chang didnât need four engines to get out but losing any more would be pushing it. Rechs stumbled into the cargo bay, the crew chiefs caught the big sniper as Rechs crashed onto the deck. They were dragging him forward and he was blacking out as the cargo door sealed, bullets slapping into the haul and damage control sirens, internals across all decks, âone minute until detonationâ. No idea if the Chang would make it. Medics were loading both him and the Wildman onto stretchers regardless of the fact that the Chang was under fire and was most likely about to go up with 3 hulks and an entire city within the next 60 seconds. Through his back he could feel the Chang straining to reach jump altitude. Maybe the nav comp was having to replot because of the two hulks on an intercept course. Maybe. Maybe theyâd make it, maybe they wouldnât, it was out of his hands now; and there was a peace in that, in things being out of your hands, being out of your control. But that wasnât a peace that belonged to Tyrus Rechs it didnât suit him, it wasnât who he was, never had been. And there was still one thing he could do, a thing only he could do, a decision only he could make. He brought up the trigger nukes menu and watched as the clock hit 30 seconds, then he selected abort. He looked over at the Wildman, they had fresh oxygen pumping through a mask over the big sniperâs face. His chest was rising his eyes were closed and fluttering. Rechs gave him a thumbs up anyway. âNo man is an islandâ, he would think days later when he thought about this moment. Try to figure out why. He would know after he talked to the little girl. The angry twin. But in that moment, he just raised one thumb of his gauntlet and said, his voice a harsh croak within his own helmet, âWeâll come back. Weâll do it togetherâ. And then he passed out and somewhere along the way, under fire, the Chang jumped free of New Vega, leaving behind a world that hadnât been trigger nuked and was under savage control, for...
Read moreGAH!!!! Beautiful, Delicious, and Elegant. I don't have the words to describe just how nice this was and how unprepared I was to be blown away. If you want to have wonderful, fresh sushi, this is the place to go. We'll worth the money spent!!
To start off, I got in and sat in an area where the sun was in my eyes. A gentleman offered me a table just a bit further down so that it wasn't in my eyes anymore. Very nice!
My lover and I looked through the menu. I ordered an orange blossom (though. Sadly, it didn't come in the cool array like a flower đ ) masago, and salmon sashimi. Paired with plum wine because I wanted to try it. My partner got two plates of sashimi (had to go for seconds!!) And eel Nigiri and seared salmon nigiri.
Let me tell you that this salmon sashimi is some of the best I've ever had. My lover used to live in Japan, and they said that for a moment, they felt like they were back there as a little kid again.
The salmon was fresh and buttery, gorgeous display. The dishes were clean and beautiful. The seat came with chopsticks already out!! I have never been to a place where i didn't have to ask for them. The tables were clean, and the floor and the bathroom were all clean. Silly pictures on the wall, too. Wonderful and cute decor.
Yes, the belt was broken, but don't let that stop you.
I also got some desert for myself. If you're not buying 3 plates of sashimi, wine and desert, the price is probably much cheaper but I went all out because this place was so high quality.
The waitress we had was delightful. She was so sweet. She'd come by but didn't linger just the right amount. We must have done something right because we got our picture taken, and also got a free little fried fish thing. The name evades me. And a handful of green...
Read moreWe come here often because it is so hard to find an amazing sushi restaurant that is not driven strictly off of the conveyer belt plates (conveyer sushi is gross in my opinion anyways). The prices are not bad for the quality, presentation, and just the sheer gift these chefs have for making amazing food. So to the people complaining about the prices going up after covid, it's called inflation. I can't even imagine how much their prices have jumped for the restaurant to restock on their seafood or any other high quality products they have to purchase, I mean even just their avocado tastes so good! Everyone who works in this restaurant is always super nice and I'm always greeted by my name when I walk in, that is something to look for in a local good quality restaurant! And to the people who have complained that they aren't friendly, have you worked in customer service in a restaurant? It can be gruelling to have customers barking at you all day long, also everyone has a bad day. Maybe a little smile and kindness would have turned the supposed unfriendliness around! We have been in this restaurant before when a self proclaimed local was spouting racial slurs at our waiter because he forgot to bring something to their table and these people had to wait a whole 20 minutes, this young man still did his job with a smile and didn't miss a beat! I will always respect the people who work here, also many of them take very few days off as well. Love...
