City of Kemah Municipal Court — Local services in Kemah

I now have to pay almost 600$ because a cop told me if I left the house nothing would happen to me. I was the one that told them I wanted to leave because I didn’t want to deal with both of those two having cops called. I wasn’t the reason they were there. I was sitting in my room minding my business. I complied while sitting in my car they told me if I left no charges would be filed (I didn’t do anything and was respectful) so I stayed at a hotel alone for the night another $100 and 2 days later got a call from a cop off record saying I had court. I COMPLIED BECAUSE THEY TOLD ME TO THEN STILL FILED A FALSE REPORT ON ME. No proof of what they accused me of. 3 cops all with body cams. But now I’m stuck with a fine and probation over abuse of power. I did nothing! They were not there for me. But I still am the only one that got accused after they let the person who called the cops drive away super drunk and he’s the one that called them after bashing the window in. HE WAS VERY DRUNK AND GOT AWAY WITH IT! The court system failed me and falsely accused me. The guy in the court room was very rude about it. I hope they enjoy what I am forced to put into their paychecks because taking money from people not at fault and not caring about what actually happened SEEMS to be what they thrive off of from what I’ve heard from a few people. SOMEONE WAS ALLOWED TO GER AWAY WITH DRINKING AND DRIVING. BUT THE ONE SITTING AT THE HOUSE WHO HAD 0 involvement went down for it. He could have killed someone. But he was let go without a second look. They didn’t even try to track him down. I did not receive a ticket in my hands nor did I get one in the mail. All I got was an off the record call from one of the cops who also refused to call me back. They hid after what they did no other contact. Just accused with no evidence or...

This is by far one of the worst cities in the entirety of Houston Galveston area. It is a con job, by a billionaire that everyone is bowing down to. This city council has put a stranglehold on business owners and has caused as may issues and citations as possible to make any sane business owner want to move and find somewhere else to set up shop. But then again if you want to be where the people are headed based on tons of advertising dollars from the Landrys corporation. Otherwise Kemah is a wanna be theme park where they charge you $35 dollars to ride on old worn down wanna be attractions. The kind you would find if you went to a state fair. Nothing to see here really. Go spend the same money at Nasa and actually get something out of it. Kemah has turned into a tourist trap that has now seemingly turned on its own residence only because seemingly the billionaire wants it this way.... Otherwise people pay for parking when they dont have to, and eat at the restaurants on the water all owned by Landrys. all the businesses that are owned and operated by hard working americans are made to look as though the street is closed and they put cops on either end, which makes you not feel safe and that their could be some kind of active shooter and the cops are surrounding the area. I will not be going back as every time I do I waste money on cheap rides and bad food choices where I would have gone to the places I thought were open but was too scared to get...

Lady jerry was very rude and unprofesional while i was trying to obtain information about a warrant I was unaware of. Continuously hung up on me while I was asking my questions, tried to speak over me while giving my information. And was very rude and snarky. If this is how they deal with people trying to fix a situation that they were unaware of then it's no wonder so many people go with warrants because we can't even get somebody to respectfully talk to us to inform us on how to eradicate...
