Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Kemah

This location just sucks. It's filthy looking floors, unkempt counters, just overall a 2 out of 10 on cleanliness. The man at the counter was great, fast and courteous. It was very hot though and we had ordered combos and ice cream. He made our ice cream first. Not good as it should have been made when our food was coming out. He said the cook was making our food fresh which is why it was taking so long. That was a lie. The burgers were cold, so cold that the cheese didn't even melt like usual. The cheese was gross, like fake cheese as well, very orange looking. The meat was old and had to be sitting for a bit. I think mine was a Jalapeño burger originally because the flavor was all over the meat, yet none on the burger as I didn't order them. My sister didn't want cheese yet got it on her burger anyway. The onion rings were just warmed up in grease. Where's the homemade old fashioned onion rings gone? I worked at DQ, I've made plenty of them. Yet we get frozen, not made there obviously, barely warmed up, grease ladened onion rings. This location blows. If I could give it a negative star...

I am so disappointed by this location. I was gifted a door dash order from this location. The order was a Belt Buster combo (double meat w bacon and cheese) however what I received was an atrocity the french fries were cold and soggy. The burger was even worse. The bacon were strips which were used to line the center of the sandwich, the cheese was not melted, and the patty yes I said patty (singular) because instead of double meat it was a single patty which was barely cooked at all and was ice cold. I will say right now these are food handling and quality control issues. I do not blame the dasher first they did not prepare the order and second I watched them online quickly and efficiently pick up and deliver the order. Horrible. Absolutely horrible. "Fast-food drive-through".... 35 minutes to get through the drive-through. There was only 2 cars before us. We pull up to the window only to see that they are handwriting every order and only starting to make it as you get up to the window. That's great and all, it's fresh, but 35 minutes??? And all we had ordered was ice cream cones!! They are in dire need of updating their system. AND PUT ON SOME GLOVES! The lady took our money, gave us our change then went to the fry station and manhandled some food with no gloves and without washing her hands. Then took 10 minutes to get 3 cones..... I don't even want to give it 1 start but...
