We bought a switch online for pickup around 6:30p-7p. Unfortunately, store was about to close in 20 minutes when we arrived. Arthur, customer service representative, at this location told my husband he wasn’t able to give him the product until tomorrow. My husband didn’t understand why that was if he purchased the item and just needed to pick it up. My husband asked Arthur to check the electronics section to see if the product was in stock. Arthur went to check and told my husband they were out of stock but they were expecting a shipment tomorrow and that’s why he was able to purchase. My husband was taken back since he bought the product and said it would be ready for pick up in two hours. Right after my husband got out of target, I went in and went straight to the electronics section and found the switch we bought quickly. I told the gentleman In The electronics section I wanted to purchase it but wanted to take it to customer service since I paid for it already. I went to Arthur and he was so shocked that I found it. It was an outright lie as it was the only one there and right smack in the middle. I was polite and told him not to worry but that I purchased it so can we finish our transaction. He said no. I had to cancel my online order and purchase it in the store. How weird being since we are in a pandemic and it shouldn’t take that long since I purchased it and found the product for them. He said my money would be reimbursed in 2-3 business days. So not only did I spend money to buy it but had to spend more And wait for reimbursement because they couldn’t finish a transaction. I’m disappointed because Arthur lies and couldn’t even do a basic task. I don’t want to go back to the store during a pandemic. Just needed some help. Terrible customer service. I say this cause I bought the product for pick up, found it on my own after being lied to, and still had to pay out of pocket to repurchase. Thanks Arthur and Target Dadeland. Never...
Read moreMost likely the worst customer experience I've ever had the displeasure of suffering through and I'm in my mid-forties.
First they fail at delivering an online order and return it back to Target. Then we call in and are directed to a store across town, assured that the items we ordered are in stock. We drop everything, on our last day of vacation before leaving the country, and head to the store as directed.
Upon arriving at the store, it takes employees 45 minutes to determine that lo and behold, one item that was supposed to have 5 units on hand is actually out of stock. But it's OK, they say, just place a "pickup order" and we'll deliver it to the store. We do so, but they failed to mention that it takes 2-6 hours to arrive.
Over to guest services we go (by this point we've wasted almost a week trying to track down a backpack for my toddler's first day of school). Guest services begins with the "nos, we cant's, and every other imaginable excuse and rationalization to avoid having someone actually take accountability and help us get our order, which we've now paid for twice (original online order + pickup order we were directed to complete at the store). Last day of vacation ruined and completely wasted.
You sure missed the target with this one, kids. I'd strongly recommend some rudimentary customer experience training to start, supported by periodic recurring coaching sessions to help your "Target Team" figure out how to provide accurate information and collaborate to actually help your customers. The entire experience has been nothing short of a textbook case study of how not to service...

We just changed our review back to 3 stars because certain price check scanners and the telephone for customer assistance are Now Functioning, however I see that many products are missing (out of stock) from the shelves at the CVS pharmacy, especially the vitamin and supplement section. I was able to find what items I needed at the Vitamin Shoppe across the street. While browsing, I noticed that one of the pharmacists likes say things about customers subliminally and she needs better training (today, on 7/11/23 at around 5:15pm - the associate with blue shirt and glasses). We are stakeholders and sponsors who are fully vested in Corporate America, and this location is one of our top main focuses because of demographics. This is such a clean store, fast checkout, probably one of the most organized Targets I've been to, and it definitely seems to be managed very well. I noticed there were associates in almost every department restocking and cleaning. The self checkout experience is quite smooth, with an associate always willing to help. There are also many open cash registers with convenience items if you prefer. The Pizza Hut and Starbucks are clean, and they actually have warm food ready - most times we've entered. We will definitely visit more frequently to update this review soon, definitely up to corporate standards. We do appreciate Target price matching with Amazon and Walmart. Thank you. If we can improve anything here, I would recommend more signage/sale call-outs, especially for the racetrack...
