I've been looking for the ufo lounger for years! I was so excited to hear from a relative that not only had they found a store that carried it, but they would deliver to us several states away! He & I ordered the same chair. I think I lucked up bc I only had to wait a little over 2 weeks for mine, he waited more than 3 months despite being promised 60-90 days. His order was placed 10 full weeks ahead of mine. We both got our chairs today.
After ordering my chair, I was told it would ship the following week. I had to call back twice to get shipping updates when it didn't ship on time. I felt like I was pestering them, but they were at least very friendly about it. I should never have had to call them though. I would expect to be contacted when there's a delay in shipment.
I owned the Cellini ufo lounger years ago. I loved that chair, so I knew what to expect & thought that's what I was ordering. That is NOT what I received. My first chair had in fact been imported from Italy. This chair was made in China (there are stickers indicating such on the bottom), the quality is somewhat degraded & the holes for one of the legs were drilled incorrectly so I can't put it on securely. Not that it's a bad chair, it's just not what I had previously & thought I was purchasing again.
While we're both thankful that we found the likeness of our old chair, & they delivered to us; I'm disappointed in the amount of money I paid for subpar quality & communication. I will accept the valuable lesson I learned about ordering furniture online without doing...
Read moreHorrible. We bought our 2 bedrooms and dinning room furniture last year along with extra warranty. We received everything and it was perfect but within 2 months four leather chairs started peeling. I called the store in February 2017 to inform and was told to send some pictures of the chairs. I sent everything in. I was told after reviewing we will swap out the chairs with new ones in 90 days. Well 90 days passed and no chairs so I call again and I was told it will be end of August before I receive them since they were coming from over seas. Now I have total of 6 chair peeling leather everywhere it's awful. So I called today to check on the tentative date and was told they are back orderd for another 8 weeks. I am very upset with the store as they offered me loner chairs but will not deliver. Finally they said I will check with the manager and get back with you. Well she calls back and said we will try to fit you on our delivery schedule but it's no guarantee when they can do that. I have a wedding in family towards 8/30/17 and will have so many guest coming to our home. I am ashamed to take someone to eat at my dinner table with this poor, peeling and nasty chairs. Scandinavia should have replaced them right away or at lest attempted to deliver the loner chairs to us ASAP. Read moreI was in desperate need of 2 bedroom dressers. I was DONE with antiques and the last time I had a new bedroom piece as probably high school. I’m in my mid 30’s so you get the idea. That high school set was from the very same store years ago and it was given to a neighbor in 2006 who still has it in perfect condition. Therefore going back to modern clean line aesthetics was a no-brainer and I drove straight over to the store location. Not to mention I was NOT building a cheaper piece of furniture. The service was beyond friendly and helpful and when I picked out a dresser and said I needed 2 and asked when I could pick them up. I was told they were ready almost immediately! About 2 hours later my husband picked them up. When I unboxed them they were packed EXTREMELY well with protective styrofoam all around and a plastic bag. There were zero flaws on the dressers because of the packing. The only thing I needed to attach were the small legs at the bottom. The dressers are HEAVY and very solid. I’m so happy to have something beautiful and well made. This is my favorite place for furniture hands down from service friendliness and helpfulness...
