GameStop — Local services in Kenner

In June 2023 we purchased a Dualsense Edge wireless controller for $199 with the 2 year warranty. In May 2024, we returned to the store to get a new controller to replace the one that was broken and they did not have any in store. They called around to get one shipped in from another location. Over 1 month later and we still do not have a controller. Corporate office can’t help due to the purchase being made in store, and none are available at the store so basically we are out of the controller and the money we spent on the warranty. Do yourself a favor and buy all your gaming devices from Best Buy or another store that is more reliable...

This store is terrible. We just bought a game on the clerks recommendation and it was not as advertised. We called back and questioned why she would recommend this game. She told me that she didn’t know how to help us. Her exact words.

If you don’t know how to help then don’t lie about the product. FYI she’s short overweight with short black hair. If you ask her for a recommendation do so with extreme caution as she does not have a clue about the products she pushes.

No wonder this chain is closing stores all across the country.

I went here to get a couple of games for Xbox One, a controller and a web- cam. I found everything I needed fairly easy so I thought. The shelves are filled with empty display cases which is supposed to showcase the inventory but when I brought the empty cases to the register I was informed that out of the 5 items I tried to purchase I would be leaving empty handed because none of the items were actually in the store.
