The Grand Theatre — Local services in Kenner

For the price, I’d go elsewhere. Here’s why:

From the outside, it strongly resembles an abandoned building. Much like the theatre next to it that is now a church. The stop signs are missing in the parking lot and there’s rotting mattresses and box springs in the grass. Well, there was one stop sign still up, but it had vines grown over it so you couldn’t really even tell. The theatre name at the top of the building is missing half its letters.

The bushes and streets surrounding the theatre are overgrown and littered with trash. Trash that is faded and rotting away because they’ve let it pile up and sit there for so long.

The inside is slightly better. The chairs are awful. They smell and are worn to the max. In the kind of way where I wouldn’t want to put them to the street by my house cause I wouldn’t want my neighbors to judge me.

The bathrooms were disgusting male and female.

In its prime, I wouldn’t mind paying $60 for 3 tickets (in its prime $60 would buy your entire experience not just the tickets). Now? You’d have to pay me to go back. What an embarrassment to the owner. One of those businesses that they just need to let go. Kenner is...

DO NOT GO THERE!! A RAT crawled on my food!! Unsafe and traumatizing experience!! Recently, I visited The Regal Grand Theatre in Kenner, LA and had a deeply disturbing experience. I bought nachos and placed them on the empty seat next to me. Minutes later, a rat crawled onto my nachos and then ran away. I was mortified and felt unsafe and disgusted! | immediately left the theatre with panic attacks! This is unacceptable. A rodent on customer food shows a severe sanitation and infestation problem. Seats are very old, it’s a shame I couldn’t even sit back in the chair because it was so uncomfortable by how old they were . Bathrooms are filthy both times I had nothing to dry my hands with and to top it off a RAT ran across my foot in the middle of the movie I almost lost it !!! Please fix this place up Kenner .
