Olive Garden Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Kenner

I have to say that this is my for sure favorite go to place no what city and state I’m in!!! Whenever I just don’t have an appetite or simply have just ran out of places I could find whenever I’m in a new town especially! So I’m at the esplanade ave Kenner Louisiana location tonight! I must say right off the bat, I was robbed of my excitement because whenever my fiancé unraveled our eating utensils (forks, spoons, etc) they were disgusting! So yes that definitely put a damper on things and killed “the” mood! However for a Friday night we walked right in and was seated with out any wait time at all! Of course I already knew what I was ordering but we ordered our drinks along with mozzarella bites asap! So they came out with that super fast so that was cool because of course we all know I showed up in my usual hangry state lol anyways the rest of the service besides us getting the rest of all of our food and still never received our utensils until he oasssed by and noticed we weren’t touching anything lol so anyways yes the food was killer as always well not always! So I ordered the never ending soup and bread sticks but didn’t receive breadsticks because the were out??? Needless to say when everything was all said and done and I was full our waiter Ashton was happy to arrive with some breadsticks which was super cool but just a bit too late since I mean my dinner was endless breadsticks, soup and Salad! I was gonna go ahead and give them my usual 5star but I take that back because ALL OF THE MISTAKES THAT HAPPENED TONIGHT WERE ALL BASED OFF OF PURE LAZINESS!! I feel that with a timeless classic place such as the infamous “Olive Garden” especially the fact that it was here of alllll the places this should have not happened even a rookie shouldn’t have made these mistakes due to being new and learning the ropes this was just pure laziness...

It was my birthday yesterday. My husband and I decided to go there to eat because we like their food and had good experience before in other cities, but we have never been this place to eat. We had a waitress was kind of flat. When i asked her which meal or meals are more popular, she didn't know. I just felt she was not willing to help. She even didn't introduce her to us, but she didn't with other tables. Was that discrimination? Then we ordered our food and my daughters' smoothies, she didn't bring the smoothies until we reminded her, but it was time that we almost finished eating. I asked her to bring some to go boxes since we had a lot of left overs. She did and then she got excited because we were going to pay. She wanted me to pay on the machine. She even didn't offer me the original way to pay my bill such as a paper receipt because the machine popped out 18% tips automatically I guess. She asked me to pay that amount tips. I was shocked. Should servers ask for tips? And the thing is she DID NOT deserve that much tips! Other servers brought paper receipts to their customers and pieces of chocolate if there were children on the table. She didn't although I brought my daughters. She even didn't bring me a bag for the to go box. She was just focusing on the tips. Actually other staff were not really active and nice. When they heard my complaint, no one even was bothered to say "Sorry". If other staff said sorry, i would feel so much better. That would make me feel like we were important to them and they wanted us to come back. But no. I just felt none of them cared. Do you want to eat there and have that terrible serve like me? I am not going back to that place. I want to spend my money in...

I had called in a semi large to go order. Upon arriving, I was greeted at the door and directed to go to the bar to get my food. I waited for about 2 mins before being greeted by the bartender. I gave her a gift card to pay and I don't know what happened but she immediately left and went to get someone else. In the meantime, I was checking my order to ensure I had everything and another worker came out and asked if I had been helped. I told him "yes, I was just checking my food." He kind of scoffed and said "ok." And got on the computer at the bar. I tried to get the attention of original girl who had helped me to inform her I was missing one of my entrees. She acknowledged me after a minute and again, went to get someone else. Another girl came out from the back and I told her I was missing one of my entrees. She spoke to another person waiting for a to go and left to the back. She returned w his food and was a little rude to him. After waiting for about 10 more minutes, I finally got my food and left. Total time spend inside: 33 minutes. For a called in to go order. And a couple of slightly rude (perhaps annoyed?) people. The food gets...
