Canyon Lakes is no longer including cart fee with green fee - in addition to green fee it is now $25/player to ride. Not only this but there is no military discount six days out of the week.
What an absolute joke and atrocity that a golf course in Tri Cities would charge these obscene fees. For this price in the future I will 100% go to Wine Valley and disregard any future rounds at Canyon Lakes. Talk about a rip off.
I think Canyon Lakes thinks they are great and amazing because they are the nicest public golf course in Tri Cities - the truth is, this isn’t even a top-40 golf course in the state. Befuddled at these exorbitant green fees and embarrassing for the course to only consider military discount once a week. This will be my last time ever dumping money into this marginal at best...

The staff thought we were a bachelor party (not that that should make a difference) so they treated us like we were somehow going to disrespect them and their course--angry is the best adjective. The kitchen staff had a little bit of an out because there were only two of them working but it's not an excuse to be nasty.

Read moreI made an online reservation 6 days prior to wanted tee time. When we showed up, there as no reservation due to events blocking out times. We were very disappointed to not be able to golf with our out of town guests. I brought this up with the General Manager, Mike Lundgren, who looking into what happened. The issue was with their online system and he showed great customer service by providing complementary golf passes. I am very appreciative of great customer service. Thank you Mike.
