As it was newer I do hope things improve. Pricing was expensive for what was received and some dished didn't really match their description.
The pork belly was one of the dishes that was over priced and didn't meet expectations based on the menu. It was just fried pork belly no seasonings. It had six 3 by 3 pieces of lettuce 2 cucumber slices and half if a small grape tomato.
The #9 on the menu was good a bit of a texture issue for me however not for my other two eating companions. The problem was two fold. First, we were basically told we wouldn't like it because we were American. Secondly, 6 tiny shrimp 1 egg and 1/3 cup of noodles with sauce was way over priced.
The final item we tried was FABULOUS pork adobo as we had had this dish many times in other Philippine restaurant we knew how it should taste and it was great.
Though vegetarian options were available pricing for what you got were bad and if you were wanting veggies to go along with your meat and rice think again.
I would go back but not for a year to allow major...
Read moreBest customer service out of all the Filipino food spots I've been to and I've been to 35 US States, 5 Canadian Provinces, and 5 other countries!
My sister and I were driving from LA to Spokane for her work, and our last stop happen to be in Kennewick. Neither of us have heard of Kennewick before so we were so surprise to find a Filipino restaurant there. There were no Filipino customers when we came in (almost 8pm Friday) so I was doubtful of how good the food might be. We were very pleased we gave it a chance because they serve the tastiest Bicol Style Ginataang Gulay and Garlic Adobe Fried Rice (it's seriously addicting!). But more than the food, Jubert (the owner, and server that night) gave the best customer service not only to us but to all of the customers there who happen to be all white. He always asked for feedback and address them by their name. He even told one of the customers where to get Ube because he really liked the Ube ice cream. We will definitely go back there if we visit. I hope they open a branch here in...
Read moreThe owner was incredibly nice and fun! I would love to be friends with the guy. However, the food...all of it tasted and looked like it came frozen, canned, or premade in some other way. I'd bet $100 bucks I could go to Costco and get all the same exact stuff and only use my microwave to recreate the entire table. I really wanted authentic, fresh made food. This was very Americanized and lazy, to be honest. Everything tasted like it had just as many preservatives as actual food ingredients, if not more. Very disappointed. I'm honestly hoping this was a fluke experience. There were very few people there so maybe he was just low on staff or supplies and had to go to plan B to keep the place open for the night, I don't know. I'd like to try again some time and just cross my fingers it was a one-time thing. Side note: Some blinds would be nice. We went for dinner and was blinded by the setting sun. Couldn't get away from it anywhere. No...
