If I could leave zero stars trust me I would, we have unfortunately lived in tri cities for almost 3 years now and always noticed the happy hour sign out front of this restaurant 2-5 never had a chance to experience it until today. We went in and the older women waitress was beyond rude and said no we don't do happy hour we forget to take it down, really over three years isn't enough time to take down a sign? The younger girl who brought us the chips only gave one salsa when usually they give two, then that younger girl who brought the chips was eating in the bar with another co worker and they kept turning their heads and looking at us and speaking Spanish and laughing at us, I know they were talking about us because we were the only ones there. And when they both turn and look in your direction speaking loudly and laughing. Food was good, but this is where it gets me, no refills on salsa at all, brought me broken chips, and charged me 3.99 for one refill on broken chips, they never charged me before for a refill on chips, especially broken. How can you charge and not tell people that chips aren't free! Horrible experience, making us feel uncomfortable, talking about us, discriminating against us, and laughing at us. And to top it off to charge us for something that wasn't good where they should notify customers that chips are extra. And didn't even offer to...
Read morei am not sure if they are under new management but have had very inconsistent results when getting take out. In the past when we wanted to have a great Mexican meal we would always get Fuego. The last three times we have ordered for take out, they have either given us very small portions, missed ingredients or meal was sub par. Last night, we had guests from out of state visit and wanted to get a "special" meal. Paid over$90 for carnitas platter for 4, order of chicken taquitos and fresh avocados. When we received meal, they said they no longer use platters but styrofoam containers. The carnitas looked like enough to feed only two people. the rice and beans were mixed together in single container. We requested fresh avocados and got guacamole. Very little sides of onions and peppers. There was so little to eat, I had two bowls of cereal after our guests left. This was a special evening for us and was bragging about Fuego's food. It was a real disappointment for us and very embarrassing we didnt have enough food. If you expect to serve this meal to company, I would be very cautious. UPDATE: Aug 20, 2021 NEVER heard from management... just shows they do not care about their customers. There are soo many other excellent Mexican restaurants in the tri cities I will never give them my...
Read moreThe absolute WORST Mexican food we've ever had! My wife has wanted to come here in the 3 years that we've lived here. Now we're sorry we did!
I ordered the grilled Baja fish taco lunch plate. Once I opened the foil, it was very obvious that the tacos were not fresh, but microwaved in the foil! The corn tortilla was that warm, mushy microwaved texture that was floppy and fell apart with each bite. The tilapia was not fresh grilled, but being microwaved had NO flavor at all! Both fish tacos were like this! Both sides of beans and rice were microwaved as well, and neither had any spice or any flavor; the rice was like a very bland Rice-a-Roni. There was a small pile of lettuce that was the only food on the plate that wasn't microwaved!!
My wife had the one taco, lunch plate and had similar complaints about all of the food on the plate being tasteless and microwaved quality. Neither of us could finish our lunch because the quality was so bad!
If I could give a zero star rating, I would! The food here was absolute garbage! What a...
