Claire's — Local services in Kennewick

I visited this store yesterday and felt compelled to write this review as this isn't the first time I've encountered this issue. The prices of items in the store are consistently too high, even during sales. Unfortunately, the cashiers often seem unaware of ongoing sales, leading to customers being charged the regular price instead of the discounted rate. It appears that either the staff are not properly informed about promotions or the system fails to update prices automatically. It's disappointing that customers aren't informed about available sales, potentially leading to them paying more than necessary. Even when there's an opportunity to purchase items at a lower price, cashiers don't proactively inform customers. Only upon inquiry do they reluctantly acknowledge the sale. I've witnessed other customers experiencing similar frustrations, with cashiers unaware of items being on sale until prompted by customers presenting evidence. It's evident that the store needs to improve its communication and keep its staff informed about ongoing promotions. Regrettably, this experience has left me with little desire to return...

I've been a returning customer to the store, but as of today I don't think we will. We went in to the store because my daughter wanted to get something for her birthday. Once stepping in we were literally YELLED AT saying "Can you guys stay outside they are in line!!" my daughter was even startled which I thought was really disrespectful. There wasn't anyone in line which we thought was even weirder! So we stayed outside to "wait" but instead were blocked off with cardboard stands & her saying "We are at capacity". I totally understand covid guidelines BUT if you seriously have an additude about your job AND you're yelling at customers/kids then maybe customer service...

I know that some kids are different and react differently to certain metals, silver, gold. However; my daughter got her ears pierced with the cheaper versions and even though she cried for only 2 seconds her ear piecing went easy and amazing. I can’t remember the name of the person who pierced her eyes but she was really great and hyping her up and saying “good job girlfriend” and assured her she was okay. Afterwards my daughter loved the fact she looked like a “princess” and was excited about picking out earrings she can change them out too when the healing is done.
