HORRIBLE! Take your business somewhere reliable. My husband and I bought my rose gold engagement ring and wedding bands at Kay. At first it seemed like a wonderful place.. that all changed right after we purchased the rings and sent them off to be sized. It took two weeks to get them back which is fine but when we got them back we noticed that they had filled it with yellow gold so the inside of my rings were yellow not rose. They were apologetic and sent them back off for another two weeks to get fixed and it was okay. We recently sent them off again to have them all soldered together as we had recently gotten married. It took almost 3 full weeks this time which I just assumed was due to COVID-19. I had an appointment to pick up my jewlery at 5. We arrived right at 5 and the store was fairly busy so we just walked around and looked at jewlery. Eventually 10 minutes passed and no one so much as looked at us. Finally the manager came up and asked if we were her 5 o'clock after asking two other couples and me waving around like an idiot. She quickly walked us over to the counter handed my the rings and had me sign the receipt and walked away. When we left I noticed that the ring was soldered with YELLOW gold..not rose gold...and the band was soldered crooked so my diamond was off to the left of the center point of the bands. When I called the store to complain the associate asked why I didn't check the ring before I left the store and said they could send it off again. At that point I was done. Save your money and your sanity and take your business...

Taking my wedding band back in tomorrow and I’m so disappointed. Kay jewelers has had my wedding band more than I have, for “repairs”. So here goes my story, I got my wedding set in November and sent them off to be sized right at the time of sale, my engagement ring comes in as scheduled and I’m told my wedding band had loose stones and was being repaired for that. I finally get my wedding band and within two weeks I lost a diamond. I go in and have it sent off again very annoyed that this was the reason it was taking longer to get it back in the first place and shouldn’t have had any loose stones when I received it. I just got my ring back and was picking up right at closing time so I’m sure that’s why the customer service was terrible but I pointed out my ring was bent and the lady just said “I thought it was beautiful and your replacement diamond has more inclusions than the original!” I felt wrote off and as I inspected it more after leaving the store my ring not only is bent but the diamond is raised higher than all the others in a channel setting and they left a huge gap between it and the next diamond when they should all be evenly spaced. They also tried telling me this diamond is the one that needed replaced but it’s not even in the same place as the diamond I lost and I know that for a fact because this is more towards the center and the original was only the 4th diamond...

I have been so disappointed ☹️ with this place. Huge waste of money, huge dissatisfaction all the way around just absolutely ridiculous sad this place is terrible I would highly recommend not getting any of there fancy high end stuff. My wife’s ring 💍 has been broken more than she’s been able to wear it.

This places sales tactics are about the same as a used car dealership.

There zero percent interest charges an originality fee about $100 bucks they don’t tell you about.

The manager gave me the number to complain, left the fees.

The fine print on everything makes it our fault.

Now the want to trade products, for a lesser product but we are now stuck with it.

I’ve never felt so taken advantage of while buying anything, literally gives my high anxiety and stress when ever my wife talks about her ring now.

Oh and did you know that if you want to call Kay directly for support they don’t actually have anyone to talk to just a bot 🤖 fun fun fun.

Oh the life time warranty when they send it to get fixed when it break's they sent it with a noticeable smaller diamond. And the girls said oh no it was the other side that was fixed (they lied 🤥)

So many lies and sad moments with this place. All I want to do is have something nice for my wife and not get hosed like I did just...
