Heard this place was good but I walked in and sensed doom in the first aisle. I walked in to find Brownie Brittle, a house favorite of ours that seems to be hard to find. It was average priced but as said, I don’t see it much so thought I’d grab a bag. As I continued through the aisles it seems it got worse than average prices. I was starting to notice items I commonly see in other stores for cheaper, were now here a few dollars higher. There were some travel coffee mugs currently in the Walmart clearance aisle for $4 and $6, priced here at $12-$15. Honestly item after item that I walked passed….Most prices seem to be either higher or the same price as in any other store. I was surprised to hear their slogan on repeat through the overhead speakers saying something about items being cheap. But, I just saw $4.00 for cereal & $7.99 for crappy towels. Average. Nothing to get excited about. Seemed like a waste of time and I was itching to leave but it got my mom outta the house & entertained her for a bit. 2-22-25. First time at this location and will be the last. I’m on the hunt for the perfect rug for my apartment and I found just the one that matches everything. Even the size was right! Asked for an associate to assist and I explained I wanted this particular rug. Told me no issues and there is a 10 percent discount for the displays since they aren’t wrapped! Awesome! Associate comes back to inform me he can’t sell it to me as it’s a “permanent” display according to the store manager but I just got told I could buy it. Really disappointed because not everyone is on the same page with policies and I was ready to spend the money for this rug. Get up front to check out my other couple items and you got two associates just standing around not doing anything. Finally get to check out and there was absolutely no customer service, no greeting, nothing. My stuff was just thrown in a bag, got handed a receipt and that was that. My five year old can bag better than the service I got today. Store is a mess like it hasn’t been cleaned in a while. Disappointing isn’t even the right word to describe the experience. I loved it here! I used to shop at the old Piggly wiggly at this location and I really missed it so I was very curious to see what they did with the place. It's completely different except the same flooring is still there. It makes me feel at home though. 😂 Anyways, the pricing is honestly decent. They have a wide variety of items to buy. Some prices I will argue are not the greatest, but most are really good! It was only 2.99 for a three pack of soap, and 0.99 for hand soap. Best deals I saw there. I bought the three pack of dove soap and the cashiers were extremely kind and helpful. It was so crowded though since I went right after they opened. Also, there was a HUGE selection and like a pallet of just dove products! I was so happy to see this.
