So I have been shopping at this smoke shop since it opened, my preference has always been to shop local if possible. Well my son also as an adult shops there. He is a man, with his own time and $, and decided since it was close to his work it would be convenient. I came in yesterday because I buy two disposables at once every two weeks, which I always try before I leave the store. I used one that started messing up drawing after 3-5 hits so I threw it in my purse because I would have to turn it off after every hit or it would just keep running and burning. I work 2 jobs and support and disabled husband, so it was 4 days before I could get over to the shop especially with the weekend traffic being summer. I do drive past 3 other smokes shops just to come here might I add. I go in and the girl said she needed to call the owner who proceeded to tell me because my son, whom isn't me, or my money, or time, had to bring back the exact vape I had and it's his #1 seller so he doesn't have any other problems with it. So.. you are telling me you are collectively treating us as 1 customer even though we shop separately, you have had problems with this vape because if not I wouldn't be here but since we are related it must be us not the product! To insinuate I/ him or we would intentionally break a vape to have to drive 8miles out of my way in bumper to bumper traffic to return it is insulting and in poor taste. Not to mention the owner still now only knows who I am because of this, even after I have been in over 100 times, personally had 20+ convos with him over all this time shopping there. He could care less about his actual returning customers that spend $100+ every two weeks and my son goes in weekly spending $$. Sure he said I will replace it this time which I declined because after his speaker phone attack on my intelligence of a vape product and assumption to my lack of a moral compass I rather take my broken vape and business, closer to home, and else where. Clearly accusing your customers of breaking things on purpose is not the move. It wasn't about returning a vape, it was about being insulted asking if I knew how to use it properly and insinuating I and apparently my son were the only people ever to have an issue with that vape. Also I have seen and watched them return boxes upon boxes of faulty vapes over the years, and it is just now a thing because "we don't return any vapes because we don't get credit back from our sales rep for...
Read moreFirst time customer...stopped into buy a vape. I knew nothing about vaping. I have had several friends quit smoking cigarettes and did so by switching to vaping. So I was interested in doing the same thing...hoping to be done with cigarettes. This is a one stop shop. I was able to purchase a starter set and several juices amongst other things. There were two people there that really helped me decide what would work for me and answered all my questions and showed me different devices. (Thanks Michael & Abrielle) I ended up choosing the one in my pics and it's been several days since it was purchased and I'm very happy with the one I chose. It has two pods that I can switch flavors...not stuck using the same flavor. So I can have tobacco flavor (custard tobacco) with my morning coffee instead of strawberry. I also want to add I had a problem with the first vape I purchased it just stopped working. I was able to get a replacement right away and the issue was resolved. Happy Hitts has an endless amount of anything related to vaping/smoking. It will be my go to for now on. The initial cost of starting vaping was quite expensive but in the long run it would be less then buying/smoking cigarettes. I have not had one cigarette since purchasing my vape. Thanks again...
Read moreI purchased an Equator EQ30000 disposable vaporizer from this establishment. The price for this disposable vaporizer was $40 at this establishment. A quick google search showed me that from the manufacturer this device can be purchased for $12.99. This is a 308% mark up. This is unacceptable. This is bad business. Also for the record when I worked at a local seafood restaurant, all the younger staff I worked with that were under the age of 21 informed me that they purchase vaporizers from this establishment because they do not check IDâs to verify age. Steer clear. This place does not deserve your business, and should go out of business. This is a bad business, that does bad business. Take your business to Vape Bird, they card religiously, and do not sell vapes to minors.
Edit: hey buddy, if I have no conceptualization of the market price of the vaporizer before I purchase it, how am I at fault for being taken advantage of by your predatory business practices. Itâs not as simple as âI donât like the priceâ I will pay a premium for the convenience of not waiting for a vape to ship to my house, but 308% is an absolutely unconscionable mark up, and you should feel ashamed for robbing your customers. I noticed you were remarkably quiet about selling...
