Tacos are my favorite food in the universe and I have eaten them all over the country. Tacos from El Nene are my absolute favorite tacos on Kent island. My husband and I have ordered them on over 30 occasions and the chicken and carnitas are always seasoned to perfection. I can't get enough of the chicken as it is probably the most delicious seasoned chicken I've ever had on a Taco anywhere. THE guac and chips are also fantastic....It would be nice if they would serve a side of some sort of crema drizzle...Yum... when I'm pregnant šŸ¤°these tacos are all I want to eat! We LOVE El Nene!

Stopped at a gas station on our way home and was pleasantly surprised to see they had food! Tried the baleadas (tortillas filled with beans, egg, and cheese) and she offered to add guacamole ā€” which was free, along with salsas and sour cream šŸ˜Š Delicious and exactly what I needed. The verde sauce was to die for. I will definitely be keeping them in mind for future road trips!

I'm here out of town for work. Stumbled across these gem of a food truck at the gas station and have been coming back day after day. It's that good and authentic, the owner is very nice and hospitable. I'll be back for sure! Thank you for that lil extra surprise with my last order of tacos! šŸ‘ŒšŸ¾

Great Price, Amazing Tacos. Cooked Fresh. Definitely worth stopping by šŸ˜‹

UPDATE: The service and food here started off amazing but the owner is clearly trying to grow too fast. Every person he hired canā€™t cook like him, canā€™t speak enough English to properly service customers, and now it pointless to call and order ahead. I used to drive 40 mins to come here for lunch everyday. Recently I called in placed my order and when I got there the guy look at me confused and asked me if I had ordered and then went on to say the owner doesnā€™t want to pay for more employees so heā€™s doing what he can. The time after that a new guy was working there and I was trying to figure out if they were open in the Chester location. The guy was working in the Chester location and didnā€™t even know he was in Chester MD. I still ordered anyway trying to have faith because I really wanted tacos, the steak wasnā€™t even seasoned. Iā€™m happy to pay almost $40 for tacos that taste amazing, but I refuse to pay that same amount for tacos that werenā€™t even seasoned. It was just cooked steak with NO seasoning (Not even salt) and cilantro and onion. I wish the owner had just stuck to one location until he could train and find someone that could do what he does because his service earned my trust but his...

The flavor of the food was pretty good but this place was unusually hostile towards vegetarians. I ordered a cheese quesadilla and the guy who took my order laughed at me repeatedly (is a cheese quesadilla really that weird of an order?) and when my food came out it was pretty cold. Tbh Iā€™ve been a vegetarian for 13 years and ordered at places all over the world, and I canā€™t say I remember that happening before.

That said, it definitely tasted good, so I guess if you order meat youā€™ll probably have a better...
