It’s a shame the lowest I can give them is a 1 ! Contracted Kent Greenhouse to remove and install a new pool deck ! The deck was suppose to have a broom finish for the safety of my wife who had a serious fall in 2015 and had sustained three broken vertebra in her neck . The finished deck was smooth , lump and bumpy with numerous holes in the surface ,a foot print left by one of the landscapers performing the work and the whole eastern side was pitched toward the pool so that rain water would run into the pool rather than off the deck !The deck had two bird bath pools on it do sloppy workmanship by landscapers ,I stress the phrase landscapers because they told they weren’t masons !They ruined my pool liner by discharging the gritty water from the concrete saws into the pool ! I ruined my Dolphin Pool vac attempting to clean the pool whereas chunks of concrete debris got caught in the gears causing them to break !The aluminum pool fence actually had concrete hand prints on where on of the workers whose gloves were covered in concrete was grabbing the fence as he walked along side of it ! In addition the fence has numerous concrete spatters from the concrete splashing done from the pumper hose along with the white lattice work on my porch and a new retaining wall !When I questioned why they weren’t protecting my property especially the pool itself I was told because it wasn’t figured in the bid ! My wife and I used Kent Greenhouse for a complete redesign of our backyard. The project scope included demolition, patio, stonework, outdoor kitchen, fireplace, pergola & extensive landscaping - including irrigation and LV lighting. A highlight of the design was repurposing of existing limestone for our patio, wall caps and banding. The Designer, Chris Elkow and Project Manager, Stephanie Barlow were a pleasure to work with. I bought things from this nursery because the staff always says it’s better quality. Everything is four times the price of other places. So I always had feeling of security going there. I’m the kind of person who shops from Walmart to everything in between. Therefore when I come to Kent green house I expect plants that won’t die. Last fall I bought a lot of roses from here to wall mart to Home Depot. Guess which ones didn’t make it? Walmart roses on sale did well. But the overpriced Kent greenhouse roses all died!
