I was quite peeved at the owner's refusal to serve me without leaving my backpack & it's very expensive contents outside. The owner was unwilling to offer a safety guarantee or an alternate location for the bag. I feel alienated as a client & firmly believe the treatment given was unique to me being a backpacker. I can't imagine the owner asking my elderly mother to leave her walker, or my baby's stroller outside, so what makes my backpack different?
