Firstly, to be completely transparent, I’ve never actually eaten here, so I cannot speak to the food, but I am leaving a review of this place as a doordash driver who has had issues with this place consistently for months now, tonight’s problem being the worst of the bunch. I arrived to pick up a doordash order that had wings and a pizza, and was informed that the wings were done but the pizza was still in the oven. That was not a problem, I moved over to wait for it to be finished. A few minutes later, a different employee comes up to the counter and tells me that I need to go sit down and not lean on their counter, as I’m in the way. I’m bewildered at this point, because not only are the seats she told me to sit in full, but there’s also no one behind me waiting, so I was not in anyone way. She then tells me I should go stand over there then, at which point I have to embarrassingly inform several strangers that I have physical limitations preventing me from standing for long periods of time, to which she asks me to move to a different part of the counter if I’m going to lean on it, which I did even though there was literally no difference between that and where I was. I then wait another 10 minutes, before finally being informed that actually the pizza I’m waiting on was never actually in the oven, the first person lied to me and didn’t check, and that they’re making it now. At this point I’ve already been in the store for 20 minutes or so, and would have to wait another 10-15 minutes, but I was just so irritated by this whole experience that I unassigned the order and left. So all in all, I wasted about 30 minutes in the middle of my busiest time of day, taking money out my own pocket, and had to awkwardly explain my physical limitations to a snarky employee giving me attitude over nothing. Just as a few other side notes, the wait times are often long here, parking for this place is a nightmare, the stairs coming up by their door are dangerous, and their bathrooms are unexplainably right by the door they use as the entrance, so you’re often greeted by some less than pleasant smells when you go in. Those are things I could look past, but given those facts along with the terrible experience I had today, I would recommend you avoid this place, whether as a doordash driver or a customer. Edit: Adding this the day after, as I’ve had a conversation with the owner on the phone, and as you would guess by his reply to my review, he was extremely dismissive of my issues. He stated that his employee assuming the pizza was in the oven and not actually checking was perfectly okay, and said that if I needed a chair I should’ve asked for one, which I obviously shouldn’t have had to as I was in no one’s way, and if they had put the order in when they were supposed to I wouldn’t have been there long enough for it to be an issue anyway. To reply to his comment on my original review: after the first two times I had an unusually long wait, I decided I would avoid your restaurant when possible, but sometimes it’s a slow day or an order has a particularly generous tip, so I did take orders from you a few times after that. I don’t get paid to wait around as a driver, which you obviously don’t care about, as you didn’t seem to see any issue with your employee lying to me and wasting my time. I truly do hope you decide to try and improve service and treat...
Read moreI visited Belleria on Friday, January 25th to enjoy their "restaurant week" specials with some of my friends. We arrived at 6pm and were told that we would have a 45 minute wait. Perfectly acceptable given it was a Friday. However, we waited for an hour and a half for a table all while seeing other parties get seated who arrived after we did. Thinking we got skipped, I asked the hostess where we were at in the line after an hour of waiting. I was told that we would be the next party seated. Four other parties of my size were seated before me. Several people waiting for a table had given up and left while we were there. Upon finally being seated, there was a table for 24 set up and empty in the restaurant and many smaller parties still waiting in the lobby. I was seated next to the large empty table. The table for 24 remained empty for another 15 minutes. Once we finally were addressed by a waitress to place our drink orders, the large party arrived. We waited another 15 minutes for our drinks to be brought out and place our order. During our wait, the large party received their drinks, placed their orders, and received their first courses. When our waitress finally came back with our drinks and took our order, we were told that they were out of 12" pizza dough. So, they offered us two 6" pizzas instead for the same price. At this point we were tired, angry, and hungry and reluctantly agreed. I just want to point out that two 6" pizzas are only about HALF the size of a single 12" pizza (simple math) and the tiny pizzas were mostly crust. I am very disappointed in the wait staff, the service, and the quality of food from this establishment. If you are going to Belleria to enjoy their restaurant week specials I advise against it as you will not get what is on the menu and will be offered food of lesser quality and quantity with no sympathy from the staff for the inconvenience. Very disappointed as this establishment used to be one of high quality with good food and a...
Read moreTry harder Belleria. Recognize your mistake, own it and apologize. Then do better next time! We have frequented your establishment many times and have never had the disrespect and lack of service that you exhibited today. After making us wait 90 minutes for a table (after being told it would be 30-45), you then seat another group (same number of people) because that person threw a fit. We waited patiently without saying one complaint. You then made us wait another 5-10 minutes to seat us. After placing our order we didn’t see our food for another 40 minutes. When I ask to speak to a manager to express my frustration and the manager and then OWNER want to belittle me for expressing that you failed today in customer service, there is something wrong. I listened to your excuses of lack of staff, town is busy, and it is no longer fun to work / own this business . You didn’t want to listen that you should respect the customer. You offered no apology, only excuses. All industries are suffering and you are allowed to be frustrated but when you want people to return after poor service you need to acknowledge your failing. I would have accepted the $4 you took off the bill and moved on if your waitress/ manager would not have ignored us for the rest of the time we were in your restaurant. Do better for others, it won’t be for us because I don’t get burned twice, but do better for others and...
