Alley Mac — Restaurant in Kent

i’m literally writing this review as i eat it because i love it so much. i highly recommend the snoop pigg (which, cmon, that name…). nothing compares to bbq pulled pork and mac n cheese!!!

the owner is so so kind and remembers me every time i come in. the portions are pretty large for the cost, and the mac n cheese is super cheesy, which makes reheating it super easy!!! i can never eat more than half in a sitting, but i end up taking it home and reheating it the next day and its literally just as good. all of the staff is really kind and i absolutely love the atmosphere. there’s always good music playing!!! i have brought my mom here AND my boyfriend from california (who always talks about how he can’t wait to have it again) and both of them got hooked.

my only complaint is that their coleslaw is a little bit hit or miss (i think it doesn’t always marinate for as long) but that is coming from a coleslaw connoisseur like myself, so if you are not as picky i’m sure you will like it. i always just get it on the side in case i don’t like it that day!!! no...

I have nothing but great things to say about this place. We came in 30 before close and ordered Mac with gluten free noodles. They were happy to accommodate but warned us it would take a bit longer to prep them. We chatted while we waited and the staff was so sweet. We got all of our groups food right before close and we thanked them for giving us such good service so late. They insured us that they were open till close for a reason and thanked us for coming in. Then we took the food home and may I say it is some of the best food I’ve had in a while. It’s so rich and flavorful and the meat is cooked so well. My family enjoyed eating at Alley Mac's. The food was good and the staff were very friendly and attentive. I had the Alleys burger and a side of Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese sauce was very flavorful. I'm particular about cheese sauces and this was very good.
