I have purchased 3 different items from this store. First a freezer that stopped working in 2 weeks. Not a big problem. But when I called I was told rudely by a woman in service to call another number. ?? When I asked to speak with the manager she became more rude and unprofessional. After several calls and messages left for the manager Joe over a 2 week period or more. It was finally taken care of with a replacement of a totally different brand and size. Second purchase was a gas dryer that stopped heating up. My call was met with the same rude and far from professional woman who should be at job more fitting to her personality... like a collection agency or maybe not working with paying customers at all. When I was told it would be 2 1/2 to 3 weeks before service could be performed. I paid a different repair service to fix it... the next day. And I paid abc warehouse for extended warranty. Lol don't do it. It's a waste of money. Third purchase was the biggest and the most regrettable. I really didn't want to purchase a $2000.00 living room set from this store. But my wife saw it online and fell in love with it. The salesman was great right up to the point of the end of the sale. He did everything could to replace the free tv with a glider recliner and kept reminding me the whole time how HE was helping ME out.... How HE was paying for this and taking care of that.... Ummm the last I checked... I WAS PAYING FOR THE LIVING ROOM FURNITURE!! But my wife wanted this set and I was ready to walk out the door and find it somewhere else. The problems just escalated from there. Things like tons of packaging material and huge boxes in my yard.... salesman never told me that... and never gave me my leather treatment kit... I figured it would come with the furniture... it didn't. Furniture wasn't put together properly. Backs of the couch and love seat weren't attached correctly... only one of four armrests were attached properly. Three came completely off. Then to top it off. The recliner the salesman supposedly worked so hard and sacrificed so much to work this deal.... was the totally wrong recliner. It wasn't even leather... it didn't even go with the set. So I called to speak with the salesman... he took the blame and said it was his fault for writing down the wrong item numbers.... but couldn't do anything about it for at least 4 days... and said I could come to the store and get my leather kit that he forgot to give me. To say the least... I was more than upset and very angry. So I waited for the correct recliner to be delivered again.... sat in it and it made so much noise when I sat in it... I just wanted to throw it out the back door of my house... So again I called the store to speak with the salesman.... he was unavailable... but a manager named Pat... by the way... he to shouldn't be talking with the paying customers. His slight chuckle as he told me to call the service number... showed me right there and then... that customer service didn't not matter to him or to ABC WAREHOUSE. They got my money.. and that's where it stops. So I called the service number... guess what... I got the same rude and unprofessional woman. But instead of getting customer service.... I pushed off on some 3rd rate repair company that can't get to my house for 2 to 3 weeks... to fix a chair that didn't get delivered correctly the first time. I will just put up with the noisy chair and never purchase another thing from them. They have taken enough of my money for all the problems I received. Well to say the least... if you took the time to read this whole thing.... and I'm not mentioning all of what went wrong. I'm guessing that the free tv I was supposed to get.... is sitting in an employee's house. DO NOT GO INTO THIS STORE.... DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE... YOU WILL REGRET IT... I KNOW I DO. NOBODY THAT SPENDS THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY SHOULD GO INTO THIS STORE. THANK YOU SO MUCH ABC WAREHOUSE.... FOR NOTHING BUT A HEADACHE.... AND A BRAND NEW.......
Read moreI've always been told to avoid abc warehouse and this specific location confirms the suggestions. We had a fridge scheduled for delivery on a Friday. My wife stayed home that day to accept the delivery, and they never showed or called. Instead they came saturday morning with no notice and left a sign on our door saying that they missed us. The date for the invoice said the delivery was scheduled for Friday though. We called the manager and after working with him (he was very stern to tell us that it was our fault) they agreed to deliver on Tuesday. Tuesday the delivery came and the fridge had baseball sized dents in it. The man delivering took the fridge back and without rescheduling a time, came on Wednesday morning luckily catching me before I went to work. This delivery went well, except for the moment when they took our old icebox off the counter and left with it. We called within minutes of the delivery truck leaving to alert that they took the icebox and the manager said he would hold it at the store for us, available for pick up on Thursday. Come Thursday I drove to the store to pick the icebox up. The manager went to the back, did not locate it, returned to the front and told me that "I should use a bowl to catch ice because I am not getting the ice maker back". When I asked why he told me that "it was taken to a Pontiac dealer that morning and would never be seen again". I proceeded to mention that when we spoke with a manager, they said that they would hold it for us. His reply - "You spoke with me and I told you that it was not my problem. Its gone, there isn't anything I can do for you and its really your fault". Customer service? None. They took it off our counter, not in the fridge. It was their...
Read moreWent in looking for a recliner on a Saturday. We found one we liked and got rushed through the transaction. We were told we could pick it up the following week on Friday, which was fine.
The day of comes, we borrowed a friends truck for the day only to be told that it wasn't on the shipment that came in. We had to tell our friend that we actually didn't need the truck anymore and returned it.
The sales guy, Mike, said he could get us free delivery right to our house the following Monday. Not great, but I'll take free delivery. Mike tells us we will receive an email before 7AM on Monday telling us a four hour window in which it will be delivered.
I took time off work today, the Monday they said it will be delivered. 7AM comes and goes with no contact from ABC about it. They let us know at 7:40 that the recliner is on back order. Got a call around 9:30 from the warehouse guy that it's not in stock and would be hearing from Mike around 10:30. Mike called and told us that the warehouse numbers were wrong and the chair was not in stock and we could wait for another or get a refund. I opted for the latter.
How did the warehouse miscount? Why wasn't it confirmed when they missed that Friday? Why was I promised free delivery when it didn't even show up?
Absolutely...
