Rodney from Mary's Flowers was amazing! I originally ordered flowers online from what I thought was a shop in Jal. I later realized they were one of those booking websites that work with florists. They couldn't deliver the flowers until a week later and my Aunt wouldn't have been in Jal anymore (she lives too far away for anyone to deliver). After spending over an hour on the phone with the original shop, I was frustrated and stressed about getting them delivered on time. Rodney saved the day and was very understanding. I explained what color scheme I had in mind and my budget and Rodney just went with it. I even had issues with my out-of-state credit card and both employees at the shop were so patient with the many calls back and forth! Oh and they deliver to Jal :). Thank you thank you thank you! I called Mary’s Flowers without knowing much about it other than it was the one florist I could find in the quaint town of Kermit, TX where I could order my amazing Mom an arrangement for Mother’s Day. The woman I spoke with at Mary’s was very pleasant and knowledgeable about their products and kindly took the time to provide detail about what I was ordering which was great because they do not have a website. The arrangement was delivered this morning, as promised and is beyond beautiful and made my Mom the talk of the office! Don't get me wrong... I love the convenience of the tech age but it's nice to be reminded that this kind of human interaction can bring back so many great memories of better times and even some unexpected joy. I would rather award zero stars to this location. I called to place order directly with local facility from out of town. When I inquired about information found on website, staff rudely advised the owner could not afford a website and that it was advertisement from an online flower shop. I stated that is why I was calling direct. Reluctantly placed order and when I said thank you, she said "Gxd daxm Bxxch!". I immediately called back and cancelled my order. I DO NOT recommend this place!
