Barberitos — Restaurant in Kernersville

First off, let me start by saying that this is my favorite restaurant chain. BUT the last few times I have visited this location the service has been awful, it’s dirty, and the staff are clueless/unprofessional. Also, the very last time I visited on 9/18/21 their internet was down, which I found out after placing an online order. Instead of filling my order (because I have proof of purchase through the app) they told me I needed to request a refund. Did not tell me how, or help me do so. So I sat on the phone with customer service for 25 MINUTES to get my $15 back for a meal that I waited almost 30 MINUTES for. Unfortunately the gentleman was hard to understand but was very nice. Unfortunately I have yet to receive my refund! (It’ll be a month next week) and to contact their customer service is very difficult and takes very long to do! So needless to say, I love their food, but I refused to return to this location. On the 18 of this month you better bet I’m calling barbaritos again to get my money back....

I downloaded the app so I thought I would try it. I ordered the build your own two tacos. I got both steak in the crispy corn tortilla with lettuce, pico de gallo, shredded cheese, it was fresh. I asked for no beans but they put pinto beans on one and it was really good. The second one, it was like the meat wasn't as fresh as the other one. I ordered a small queso dip and it was really good with the chips. The salsa that they gave with the chips was okay, I guess I just like other salsas from my favorite restaurants. It did seem fresh. The chips were really good, some were over salted. I got carryout and the chips were in the bottom of the bag, which was okay but I was looking for them to be in a bag of their own. The chipotle sauce I got was super spicy. I would give it a 8/10. I would like to try their burritos bowls on my next visit. Customer...

Ever since the new owners took over this Barberitos in Kernersville it’s been like a whole new restaurant. The people working there are awesome! I’d like to single out one in particular… Sean. He’s the man! It doesn’t matter what day it is he always has a great attitude and willing to go out of his way to make sure everyone is happy. It might be a simple gesture like bringing our food to the table. My family and I dine here every other week sometimes a couple weeks in a row. Before the new owners took over, we never knew what to expect when we dined there. Personally, I like fresh avocado in my burrito and not guacamole, however way back when it was rare to see fresh avocado… Not now! As for Sean, I would do everything you need to do to keep this guy around… I’d pay him more if you have to. Good people are hard to come...
