If I could give this place zero stars I would. Their customer service is nonexistent, at best. I was looking for shoes for my daughter who wears corrective braces on her feet and legs. Yesterday, I went into their store in Kerrville , TX, and thought I had found some shoes that would accommodate her special needs. This was my first visit to this store. Unfortunately they did not work for us so I returned today to attempt an exchange. Upon entering the store I made my way to the cashier’s desk and waited for quite a while to be addressed by an employee. I informed her that I would be attempting to find shoes in my daughter’s size but in wide, and was going to request help in locating said shoes, only to be cut off mid sentence by the representative who told me whatever they had was “back there” and I would just need to “search around” to find them. After 20 minutes of searching I came up with nothing. In that time, I was never asked if I needed assistance or acknowledged by any staff. Frustrated, I returned to the cashier’s desk and requested my refund. At this point, the refund would be placed back on my card but ONLY AFTER I provided my ALL my personal information including full name, address, and phone number. I expressed that I was not willing to provide all of this personal information because I do not want to be sent junk mail or to have my information sold to a third party. I was then rudely informed that it was required if I expected to get my refund. I expressed my growing frustration by stating that it is “completely unnecessary to hold my refund hostage in exchange for my personal information.” At this point, the representative told me that this is the “store policy”, that it’s not her store, and “if you don’t like it, you can take it up with corporate”. Upon return home and after being forced to provide my information to get my purchase refunded, I did call their corporate office. I was “greeted” by a representative and proceeded to tell her about my experience with the lack of customer service and assistance at their store and asked about the policy of collecting detailed personal information in exchange for my refund, though it was against my wish to provide said information. Unsurprisingly, their representative was very rude and flat toned with me, informing me that it is, indeed, their “company policy”. I asked why this is necessary and was told , again, that it’s “company policy” to which I asked “why is it your policy? Why is it necessary for you to obtain my personal information against my wishes? We live in a time of scammers and companies selling customer information to third party buyers and I do not wish for my information to be shared or sold and I do not wish to receive junk mail from your company.” Again I was rudely informed that it is “company policy”. Having failed to gain any insight, explanation, or anything positive from this conversation I informed her that their company policy is “bulls**t” and that I would not be shopping with them again. disclaimer This is NOT how I would normally behave when dealing with store employees or when on the phone with any representative as I have worked in customer service and retail for many years myself. The interactions between myself and this company, as a whole, warranted my expression of frustration and the use of an expletive (in my opinion). For this I feel somewhat bad but, regardless, I hope they all have the day...
Read moreShopping in this store was very frustrating and the customer service was shocking. I visited with my infant granddaughter in her stroller.Walking up and down the aisles was near impossible with shoe boxes stacked on the floor in front of the shelves and in the middle. That unfortunately wasn't the worst part. When an employee asked if I was doing ok, I mentioned that the aisles were tight and difficult to navigate. Her response was, "well you probably shouldn't have brought a stroller in here", said in a very condescending manner. I can't even imagine a mom with limited time on her hands trying to shop here. There is also no way anyone using a wheel chair or walker could either. I was told the aisles were like this because they were short staffed and I should refrain from coming in to the store on Mondays or Tuesdays when they are trying to get stock out. I can safely say I won't be in again on any day of the week. The tight aisles wouldn't have kept me away, the terrible customer...
Read morePoor customer service. Was told i was a lower income family because they had a pair of childrens shoes I was trying to get for my son..apparently the shoes were used so they took them away from me. Told me they didn't have that size anymore in that style. To check adult sizes. 25 dollar difference so I had asked if they could honor the childrens shoes price. The District Manager was helping me and basically told me I was SOL. I didn't understand why I was being forced to pay the difference for the same style shoe just in adult sizing. Asked if there was a discount that could applied for the inconvenience. He rudely offers me 10 percent and then proceeded to explain how his mother was capable of raising and clothing 7 children.. and then tells me to go to a church to get $40 vouchers that are being offered to flood victims. I am not low income. And I do not appreciate being told these things in front of...
