AT&T Store — Local services in Key Largo

Went to AT&T in Tavernier FL to purchase internet services for my local small business. None of the staff knew any answers to anything. Every customer in the store had to wait for Oliver the manager to assist because staff knew nothing. I spoke with a store associate and store manager Oliver regarding a mobile hotspot for business internet in the Florida Keys. They explained to me that no one in that store has ever sold the business internet before. I was the first customer. Oliver explained to me that the service was the best in the florida keys. Oliver said "there isnt a boat captain in the florida keys that doesnt take their AT&T cell phone offshore. Oliver was extremely confident that this was the best internet available in the keys. Oliver specifically told me that people cancel their verizon and comcast internet for AT&T in the Keys because it is the best. I took Olivers word for it and purchased the business internet. Oliver said if I wasnt happy bring back the device for a full refund within 14 days. The internet service was awful. It didnt work anywhere. We tried using the mobile hotspot from 2 different locations in Key Largo and 1 location in Tavernier FL. It was not even 50% reliable and was only painfully slow. When I returned to AT&T in Tavernier to return the staff had no idea how to return the product and again Oliver had to come process the refund. However this time Oliver entered a couple things on an ipad for the store associate and then disappeared. The store associate then informed me that I would need to pay taxes, fees, and restocking fee to return the mobile hot spot. This was also the associate that sold me the device. I asked about the 14 day refund and the store associate said yes no problem I will get my supervisor to override all the fees. When Oliver returned he claimed that he told me all of this when I purchased the product (this is the product that Oliver himself said that store and no one in that store has ever sold before, the same product that took nearly an hour to process because no one in the store knew how to do it). When I voiced my concern that Oliver lied to me about the offer Oliver laughed in my face and blamed AT&T corporate policy. I would never recommend using this AT&T in the Florida Keys and I would definitely stay far away from AT&T in Tavernier. Every question has to go through Oliver and he will lie to you get the sale. You will end up wasting half your day waiting for your turn and then you will get lied to. Massive...

This is the absolute worst AT&T store. The employees are completely incompetent and unhelpful and they blast Spanish music so loud inside you can't even hear yourself think. The employee named CJ screwed my father over when purchasing his new Apple Watch. We made it very clear we wanted to finance part of the price on the watch and CJ assured us we could do that, he said we just had to pay the taxes for them to order the watch and once it arrived we would pay the rest of the balance minus what we wanted to finance. First of all, they shipped the watch to OUR HOUSE so if we weren't honest people we could have kept the watch for free but we took it to the store and told them we needed to finish paying for it. Surprise surprise a different employee was working and informed us that CJ made a mistake and the amount we wanted to finance should have been entered into the system BEFORE they ordered the watch so we were stuck paying the entire amount up front or to go through the whole process again (no thank you). I would be willing to make the hour drive up to a Miami store to avoid ever having to deal with these people again. Avoid this...

The manger (Charles) was so horrible. I went in with a broken screen protector. I wanted a case protector for my Samsung 7 active. He told me I did not need a case, I said I would like one being I just broke my screen protector. He had two young girls assisting him. He spoke to them horribly as they asked him questions. I ask again for a case for my phone, he then said "let me say it again one more time for you to understand" he then pause my phone at me and said just take it. I have never been spoken too or treated that way in a retail shop. He was horrible and condensending to his employees and to my self. I will never ever go to that store again!
