Tavernier Cinema 5 — Local services in Key Largo

We are here on vacation and decided to go see the new King of Kings movie on Good Friday. We took our seats and the movie started right away. There were families with Very Young Children who were talking continuously but thought they would settle when the movie started. Nope! Got worse by the minute! Kids literally running up and down the isles, parents chasing them non stop, children crawling under seats, yelling, crying, screaming! Parents putting a blanket down in the isles and sitting there eating pizza! Parents giving their kids tablets to watch with the movie going with the volume on! After an hour my blood was boiling! I promptly got up and left. We went to the counter and complained along with others who were also complaining. They refunded our money, very nicely I might add. I have no idea why no one was in there monitoring the movie. I really think there should be an age limit, like no kids under 4 years if they can’t sit through it. First off, it's super expensive, second it's dated and old. Seats are so uncomfortable you have to get a massage in order to re align your spine after watching a movie. It's stupid the way they MAKE you go to the concession line in order to buy your tickets. I don't want to buy your overpriced garbage that you sell first off, second off you have a box office window that's useless. I think a requirement to work here is to have zero personality, that's what you get by coming to this theater. This place is a joke which is the reason I won't go there. Apparently the popcorn machine has been broken for three weeks, THREE WEEKS. ARE you freaking kidding me?? I would have thought that this greedy owner would have it fixed in order to take more of the patrons money. Insulting and a JOKE...

I’ve been to the theater multiple times and every time there are kids without a chaperone that talk the entire movie or I get angry enough to say something. (Half the time they smart off and keep talking). I attempted to tell the manager after the movie but he was unavailable. Just saw Thunderbolts there and a group of kids were talking the whole time and recording the movie. I hear other people complaining about the same issue. It’s sad because I don’t want to have to drive to Homestead to watch a movie. Hate leaving bad reviews but I just hope they crack down because otherwise I don’t...
