Weird experience for sure when I first walked in I was greeted by a kind man who complimented me on my playing and technique when I quickly demo’d a travel guitar. I came in the store without the intention of buying anything but simply to walk into small buisness and see what they had to offer. I plugged in a squire strat into a fender amp after about 15 minutes of me playing I was rudely interrupted by a worker who turned the amp off for me and said “you’ve played for a while” then she asked if I wanted to buy the guitar I replied with “not really” and she insisted that I should at least buy something. My daughter and I visited this amazing store today. What a great place with knowledgeable, friendly staff. We saw so many instruments...even some we never knew existed, such as the ukelin! We will definitely be back to visit next year!

UPDATE: We have continued to come back to Jubilee Music Store for a few years now, and I have to say that it is still one of our favorite places to visit! Mr. Swaim, the owner, is such a delight to converse with, and he is extremely knowledgeable! The store still has a great variety of instruments and supplies, and there is always something new to see! And, the pricing is very reasonable.

Great selection of high and lower end instruments and gear. Plus great service. Awesome atmosphere to browse in a small shop. Its boutiquey without the boutique issues. Go here, get great advise about products that can suit the needs of the casual player, or even the expert die hards looking for a great deal. They really do a good job at helping the customer feel good about their purchase. Loved visiting this retailer and chatting with the good people of OBX.
