This foodie went shopping for a new dining experience at a locally owned restaurant and stumbled upon Quisqueya Family Restaurant in Killeen. Upon walking in I was promptly greeted by the owner, Mr. David. I told him i was a first timer. He immediately began sharing the menu of the day, a decadent cuisine drawing inspiration from his hometown in the Dominican Republic. He offered me a sampling platter filled with some amazing Oxtail and delicious Chicken, both resting in their own bed of pallet tantalizing sauces. Combined with Spanish Rice and Beans, Plantains, and a Side Salad, I was immediately drawn in on the first bite. Quisqueya’s establish is small but mighty, and definitely 💯 worth your dining experience. If you eat there once you will return, I know I did!! Goat is on...

But probably for takeout...
