Updated March 5, 2023 * I received a call after posting this review from Madison (assistant manager) at 7:51pm. I was unable to take the call but Madison left a voicemail stating the tenant that called me the day prior stating I owed $40 was misunderstood and thus relayed poor information. The ring is covered, available for pick up today, and I will not be charged. I want to say that Diana (manager) and Ashley were very helpful and understanding, and apologized for the miscommunication. If this is how Paramount takes care of clients, with honest effort and the ability to correct mistakes, I look forward to the next opportunity to do business with them.

Purchased a watch and complimenting opal ring for my wife to celebrate her commitment to me over my career in the Army. Three weeks after purchasing the item the opal dislodged from the setting. Luckily the opal remained in her pocket when it dislodged.
The good: The price of the pieces was fair across other jewelers of bigger names. I chose to purchase the items at Paramount due to the delightful young lady that was very helpful in showing me several pieces while I made a decision. After shopping around at the other big name stores I found they offered the very same, or at least very similar, items for the same price.
The bad: After the opal was dislodged, during what anyone would consider normal wear, my wife returned the item to inquire about repair or replacement. The tenant she spoke with at first claimed nothing would be covered despite the ring being less than a month since purchased. However they settled on their *likely not being any charge after a bit of arguing the lack of any sort of warranty for such a new item. Today I was called (after a week) that there would indeed be a repair charge of $40 to cover replacing the prongs holding the opal, the very thing that failed on the ring.
We will pay the charge and pick up the ring tomorrow evening. However going forward I see no cause to do business with Paramount if they can't stand behind a piece less than even six months old, let alone three weeks old.
*It should be mentioned if I had purchased the ESP (extended service plan) for hundreds of dollars the pieces would be covered for five years and I wouldn't be paying this...
Read moreThe company paramount send out to for repairs should communicate with paramount when issues arise so that paramount can communicate with their customers. Especially when something as meaningful as a wedding ring/set is sent out for adjustments/repairs. 5-7 business days should mean 5-7 business days unless something comes up which is understandable but should be communicated. The staff at paramount should understand that customers are going to call for updates especially when the time frame is longer than what was told or expected. Putting customers on hold and not coming back is unacceptable. I sat on hold for an hour. Telling customers when they are calling for an update the time frame doesn’t include weekends and then hanging up is unacceptable. I dropped rings off on the 12th, first call was on the 19th which was 5 days and that’s when the lady said weekends don’t count and hung up, second call was on the 23rd which was 7days and that’s when I was put on hold for an hour, third call was on the 26th which was 10days and this is where the staff became kind and called the company to find out what was taking so long but was unable to update me until following Monday 29th and did call me to tell me company said it’ll be back this week. My last call was on the 1st because the week is almost up. The did reach back out to the company and I picked my rings back up that evening. They had my rings for a total of 14 business days which would have been fine if it was communicated. The initial unkindness and lack of communication is the only reason I can’t give this...
Read moreThis place is the worst place to buy jewelry from. I was lied to and told that the diamond I was purchasing and paying more money for was natural and in fact is lab grown. I got my ring appraised and to my surprise I had a lab grown diamond that was suppose to be natural. I went back to speak with the girl that sold me the rings and she tried to say that it's a real diamond but when I said natural she had to admit it wasn't natural. Then she tried to play down the fact that I was asking for a natural diamond but again admitted that she did say when I purchased the ring that it was definitely a natural diamond. I thought they would exchange the lab grown diamond for a natural diamond or atleast offer me a resolution since she did lie and admitted to it. No not at all Paramount said it is nothing they can do now and then after I expressed how upset and dissatisfied with that answer the manger says I should keep the ring because it look good. WOW forget about what I wanted right yall got yall sale right. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN AND I WILL TELL EVERYBODY HOW PARAMOUNT LIED AND DID NOT GIVE ME WHAT I PAID FOR NOR DID THEY ATTEMPT TO...
