Rainbow Shops — Local services in Killeen

I've been shopping here for years. I don't as often because of the return policy became an inconvenience , but I understand policies are policies. I went into the store today. I was told I couldn't try on the shirt inside the store. I was literally placing the shirt on top of my strapless tank top. I was irritated, but I respected the policy. I drove back home which is 30 minutes away. I try my items on. They don't fit. I go back to the store the same day. I have my receipt and ID. I enter the store the cashier literally has her ear piece in her ear the entire time talking to someone about a tattoo and why she should leave her boyfriend. It was extremely unprofessional. She had on a head scarf and no bra. I don't judge the appearance of others but considering the lack of professionalism, it added fuel to the fire. I than go through my return process. She returned 2 items with my refund. She than informed me that she doesn't know why but it wouldn't give me a credit for the other item and I need to call customer service. I've done my due diligence with the entire transaction. Why should I have to contact customer service. Isn't that her job??? I called customer to only be placed on hold with a expected call back. I than look at the credit paper it says I have 7 days to use the credit. The entire transaction was ghetto and trashy. I had to call corporate and report the staff member balantly talking on the phone with earbuds in her ears while she rang me up. She didn't greet nor speak to me the entire time. She just kept laughing and clacking with the chick on her phone. Ghetto....is the best description I can use to describe the staff here, and this is not my only encounter with the staff being Ghetto here. I came in about 10 minutes before closing one time, and they stopped me at the door and said they were closed. Don't go to this location!!! Just go to the Lowe's location!!! This district manager doesn't address the rude employees at this location. I've gone to the Lowe's location near closing, and the staff were still polite and accommodating; nobody was on their phone...

Store 1077 has to be the cleanest Rainbow I’ve ever stepped into. I’ve been shopping at Rainbow since I was in high school (class of 06) and being from Austin we only had two located on Runberg and Capital Plaza both are overwhelmed with racks of unorganized mess little nick nacks at the register that make it hard to even stand inline or place on clothes on the counter or sift through what their selling. Although this Rainbow in Killeen was spotless spread out felt like an actual boutique everything was set up for viewing and shopping. I was so impressed I had to praise the managers and cashier.
