DeWayne's World is a large locally owned comic and game shop. If you read or collect any comic, it's either in stock or can be ordered. The games in stock cover the entire spectrum of tabletop gaming: board, card, dice, miniature, and role playing. He carries extras of the different dice used in the games, and has an entire section of the store devoted to miniatures and sets, which also includes a large selection of paints, scenery enhancements, and other preparation supplies for a wide range of miniature games.
If the stock is awesome, then the service makes the store the place to be for gamers. DeWayne not only provides three of the best gaming rooms I've ever seen, but also makes available space for classes on different games and how to paint miniatures, as well as special events like Warhammer tournaments, Free Comic Book Day, and other competitions. There is a monthly tabletop event on the second Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m. He also provides an ordering service and layaway.
The staff are all friendly and helpful. They quickly get to know their customers by name. The shop is extremely family friendly. I love that it encourages personal interaction and problem solving in a fun atmosphere. It's one of our favorite...
Read morei believe it was dwayne himself i spoke to and hes very very nice! this was the first time i went by myself, i was immediately greated and asked what i was here for. i told him im here for free comic book day, that my boyfriend was really excited to come but work switched his schedule up so i was here in his place. he took me to the area you play dnd at (had been there once with a group) and i asked him what the limit was. he told me its 4 per person, however since im coming for him i could do 4 for me and him, so 8 total! he definitely didnt have to do that, it was so nice of him! i would say they have a decently equal selection of comics, figures, board and tabletop games. i cant vouch on prices since im not really sure about this whole thing, its more my boyfriends style while i usually tag along, but its super welcoming and a friendly...

As before, we were greeted quickly upon entering by an employee that obviously loved their job, and was willing to assist as needed. The store was laid out nicely with lots of room to move.
There's rooms on the right side of the store where gaming and tournaments take place but COVID-19 has caused the game rooms to be closed. However, on previous visits, the schedule of events, which were plentiful, was displayed on a screen at the back of the store.
The store had many games, action figures, collectibles, comic books, trade paperbacks, miniatures and paints, and gaming accessories. Our son speaks highly of this place and I...
