Went here about two months ago decided I had to make a review. The staff was confused, took two hours to get food. Staff kept forgetting what was ordered and brought out wrong food multiple times. The buttons on the table are stupid, there is no reason you should have a button to get service at your table and honestly don’t think they work anyways. The buttons also get in the way and multiple people kept hitting there arms on the buttons also prevents space on table. One of our party did not get his dinner till an hour after everyone else got there food and it was his birthday too. The nann I swear is just pizza doe not real nann. The butter chicken must be colored with red food dye cuz I’ve never in my life seen such red butter chicken, while it tasted good I got way more sauce than chicken which to me looked like not even half of a chicken breast, 5 tiny pieces. I make traditional butter chicken and can tell you it never comes out that red. I am not making this review to be a dick, I just hope they consider a customers review and make a change if they haven’t already.
-Buttons need to go -Needs more staff as two people cannot do everything, needs more training -Red dye is not needed and can severely cause damage to clothing and it turns teeth red. -Nann should be traditional or it’s not Nann -Prices should drop unless you’re getting a lot more on your plate. This is Kingston not bainbridge, and again not trying to be a dick but this restaurant is not fine dining. In Seattle for 18.99 you can get traditional Indian food plate that can be divided between an entire table of 4.
Hope you make some changes or I don’t see this restaurant lasting long in such...
Read moreVisited Nirvana Indian & Nepali Cuisine in Kingston on November 2, 2025, around 5:30 PM, and had a truly wonderful experience! Our server was very kind, polite, and attentive, which made the evening even better.
The restaurant is in a perfect location, beautifully designed, clean, and welcoming. The atmosphere feels warm and relaxing, ideal for a cozy dinner with family or friends.
We ordered the Goat Rogan Josh, Shahi Paneer, Assorted Naan (with onion naan instead of Kashmiri), Raita, and a refreshing Virgin Mojito. Every single dish was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The naan was one of the best we’ve ever had soft, fresh, and full of authentic taste. The curries were rich and aromatic, and everything was served hot and beautifully presented.
The prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, and the service was excellent from start to finish.
Highly recommend Nirvana Indian & Nepali Cuisine to anyone who enjoys flavorful Indian and Nepali food, great service, and a lovely atmosphere. We’ll definitely be...
Read moreSo excited to have this Indian and Nepali Cuisine Restaurant in Kingston! We went on their second night open. The food was excellent. We shared samosas and chicken momo dumpings, both were so good! I tried the Nirvana (house curry) and a Nepali cauliflower and potato dish (can't remember the name) loved them both. My husband had the brown curry that he enjoyed a lot and the lamb kebab which was slightly over cooked but very flavorful. The main dishes were very generous portions, very shareable and came with lots of basmati rice.
I only give the service 4 stars because they didn't realize we hadn't ordered our main dishes after we had waited quite awhile after finishing our starters. However, our server Prince was the only server along with the owner for the whole night and even though they were busy they were very polite and grateful for our patience. It was only their second night open and expect that once they get more staff and work that part out the service will be 5 stars as well. We will...
