The Village Thrift Shop — Local services in Kingwood

This was my favorite thrift store when I first found it. I was going there every weekend because they had beautiful vintage items at a great price and the two employees were wonderful. Recently I’ve had very poor experiences there. The one weekend I thought the girl employee was just in a bad mood so I didn’t think anything about it. Every time I go and she’s working the register she just has the worst attitude. I loved her service at first but she’s gotten disrespectful now. I’m an avid shopper here and even more avid volunteer! Absolutely love this store and what they stand for. All proceeds, go to the nonprofit to help adults with intellectual and developmental disability at The Village Centers. Through my volunteer experience, I was able to pick through amazing Couture labels. My organization was absolutely impressed with the layout, creation, and service that the staff provided. I came here the other day looking for my son (5yrs old) some pants. They didn't have any that was his size so that was the downfall. They could use more kid clothes. But they had some cute adult clothes and some furniture. My son found a Christmas ornament that looked like a rocket that he was begging for so he went to ask how much it was and the cashier was super friendly. She had a friendly conversation with him and I and gave him the ornament for free. Great customer service. Will be back...
