Taco Cabana — Restaurant in Kingwood

If I could give this a score of -5 stars, I would! This place is one of the worst fast food restaurants I have ever dealt with in my 47 years of life! So, last night was my last straw and felt this desperately needs to be said. I ordered a taco salad last night. My fiancé came home with it and I opened it up and it looked like this! There was maybe six square chunks of lettuce barely any of the other ingredients and a bowl of soupy beans. Was not even edible. This location NEVER gets orders right!!! I don't know why anyone bothers to come and place the order for what they want. Because most likely they're going to give you what they want to give you. They should name the place "The Taco Shell Game". If you don't know what "The She'll Game" is, look it up. I am genius!! Ha!! 🤣😂🤣😂 No seriously though, management needs to clean house on the employees here and just get people who actually can do their job right!! It's not just last night, this is a couple days a week for us personally and then my son and his wife have had the exact same problems. They won't even go there anymore and honestly if things don't change, as much as I love when they do actually get the order correct every now and again we won't continue coming either! I spoke to a very nice person on the phone who was very polite and offered to remake it this evening for me. So for that thank you!!! However I have seen the movies about what people do to your food when you complain. So I'll pass on that offer. I truly hope someone is paying attention to these reviews. I would like to see improvements so we can come get what we do like without having to go through the bag before we leave every single time. Not real easy when you're dealing with...

I moved out of Houston area in 2020 and used to frequent the TC in Webster, (Baybrook) for many years. I'm in Houston area for work and decided to drive thru the Kingwood location and get some food to go.

I'm not sure if it's this location or if ALL the Taco Cabanas are this bad now, but I'm highly disappointed in today's visit.

Got a #3 combo. When I got to my destination, 5 minutes drive, and started to eat, the first thing I ate was a chip dipped into the cheese. FAIL on 2 occasions. The chip was chew /crunch stale. Thought it was just one.. No! ALL of them. The queso, was barely warm! I'll bet if an inspector was there, the temp on the cheese wouldn't be correct.

I got 1 crispy taco, 1 soft. The soft one was okay. But the crunchy... I don't know if all of their crunchy chips and shells are old or maybe not stored properly or what. But the shell was chewy kind of a crunch like the chips.

I haven't been to Taco Bell in ages, but I'm about to start. Eating a CRUNCHY taco and breaking apart is kind of synonymous with eating Mexican food. This was not the case for today. The pico de gallo was good, the Fuego sauce was good. But FAIL on the chips, the queso, and the crunchy taco..

If I get back down to the Webster area when I'm back in the Houston area again, I will see if there is a difference between the Kingwood location and the Webster location because, today's visit was a total disappointment and a complete...

if there is more than four cars in the drive through do not go into the restaurant unless you're prepared to wait at half hour for your food I ordered a takeout order of one taco and one chorizo bowl but should have known better when I saw the 10 people waiting . The cashier scene lost and untrained as well as the staff was moving as like there was one customer waiting.the only one who seemed to be hustling in that place I believe was the store manager. I left without a refund cuz I couldn't wait after 17 minutes and it was trouble giving me a refund but we had to wait for the manager who is working the dining room in the Drive-Thru at the same time two other people with got refunds in the time I was there for waiting too long one like me left without getting a refund because we ran out of time at 8:30 in the morning the restaurant needs to realize people are stopping in but have to go to work the drive-thru is not the only people or spending money at...
