Owner needs to understand about loyalty to a certain hair dresser. My daughter came in about every two months where she would get highlights and I would get a haircut. Our hair dresser was Sue. Word is that she is no longer there. I've seen her since we were in the area, about 5 years. Now she is gone and the others were told not to say "where she went. The owner has cameras and if she finds out we told where she went we can get fired if we tell." As an owner, I would think someone would see that taking the high road would be beneficial to all and being percieved as juvenile behavior would not be good for business. As long as I knew Sue, I have seen nothing but professional behavior. She was kind and caring when it came to my daughter, who has Aspergers and does not interact for quite sometime with others. She thinks Sue as a friend, and now we have to back to square one to locate someone new because the owner forbade her co-workers to say where she has gone. As far as salon workers who are in business for themselves, they will seek an equitable location. Get over it, it's part of the system. And by the way, when I went to the place to see if someone knew where she was, there were two other hairdressers with NO ONE to work on; really smart to run off people, clients who spent 200.00 when we went because my daughter would get highlights, and Sue once braided her hair like a "Viking," so I guess the owner truly did what was good for her business. Find a place that doesn't play games. And Sue, where ever you are, I hope you are doing better. Read moreHad a perm about 3 weeks ago. I had used this salon last fall for a perm and had an amazing experience. When I needed another, I contacted them and scheduled with the same technician who had done my previous perm. Time was set at 10. When I arrived at 10, the doors were still locked and it appeared that the girls inside were having a very heated argument. Finally about 5 minutes later, the doors were unlocked and a gal, not the one I had requested, took me back to get started. When I asked about the gal I had scheduled with, all she said was, I don't know, they scheduled you with me. I explained in detail exactly how I wanted my perm to be done and the outcome I desired. I also shared that the last time I was there, the gal "Listened" to me and did as I asked. The technician pulled my records and it appeared she was doing as before. I kept reiterating though, that I wanted body only, not curly and NO frizz. I also shared that for my hair, the perfect time is a little less than 15 minutes to get the desired effect. She said "no, your card says 20 minutes". I said, please, don't eave in that long! Well, she moved me to a location where I could not see the clock and I did not have my watch or phone. She left in 20 minutes!!! I am now left with a head of FRIZZ!!! We went on vacation and couldn't even be in any of the reunion photos because of this mess on my head. Horrible! I will NEVER go back!
