We bought a Speed Queen from Highland TV and appliance from Kinston , NC 2 years ago . My mother recommended the brand to us after our Kenmore washing machine stopped working. So let’s fast forward. Several weeks ago our washing machine started acting up . So I reached out to Highland Tv and appliance . The lady answered the phone was very professional and seemed to genuinely care that we were having problems with the washing machine . Now listen it’s 2023 and we all know customer service is a thing of the past . But not here ! They sent a service man to my house by the name of Jacob very nice was very knowledgeable on this washing machine . He arrived found the problem and fixed it . We started talking and both realized we had a passion for cooking . He shared a Facebook site with me and some of his favorite bbq rubs . So I said all this to say if your looking for a local business to support . Look no further than Highland TV and appliance . I bought a used washer machine in Sept 2020 from Highland. About a week after having it, it started to make a noise on one of the cycles. I was within the 30 days of my warranty so I called and they sent someone out. After they fixed it about a month after the noise came back. I called to see what can be done but Sherry said there is nothing that csn be done. Her exact words were "its the risk a person takes when buying used." And, she said we dont know where the machines come from so they only give a 30 day warranty. I get the warranty part but at the time of purchase they said the washer machine came from a woman who just wanted to upgrade. Also the problem i have is the same one they claimed to have to fix. I found out that they say that so to convince the customer that its a good machine and make the sell. But now she saying its a risk??? You should of told me that at the time of purchase.
