I scheduled an appt with Haley for partial highlight. I wanted face-framing highlights, that's it. I really fancied all my dark growth, but didn't like the way my hair looked when I pinned it up, so I asked for face-framing highlights. If I had gotten what I asked for, the service would've likely been pretty easy and trouble-free. Unfortunately, I'm assuming because Haley wanted to upsell the service, I received a botched up balayage. See pictures. One is of me before with lots of dark growth, two after Haley's "balayage", and the other dated 2.21.2021 was after the attempted correction by owner Kimberly.

I am sorry I agreed to the balayage b/c it seems neither Haley nor Kimberly knows what one is. Not only uneven, but brass with red tones I did not ask for. Haley essentially gave me chunky highlights. Never should balayage highlights go up to the roots. Kimberly's correction was not much better; uneven results and brassy. Now, all my virgin growth is ruined. And though Kimberly warned me she would only be able to produce a "reasonable solution" to Haley's botched job, I felt paying for something that was so poor quality from either individual was unreasonable as well. When I requested a refund for the balayage and instead pay for the partial highlight, I was denied.

She completely transformed me! I had let my hair go after having health issues and it was really getting gray and terrible. You know that feeling ladies when you know it looks awful! I recently moved to the area and didn't have a stylist yet. I had been calling a few different places close by but did not get a good "vibe" from the people I talked to and that is important when it comes to trusting someone with your hair! They scheduled my appointment with Jesse and I could not be happier! She spent time talking with me about what I wanted to really understand it and got to work. I am absolutely thrilled with the results of my cut and color! I look fabulous, lol, and I feel even better. I have already scheduled my next appointment with Jesse! As far as the business itself it is very modern and clean but not one of those weird super fancy places that most of us feel out of place in, if that makes sense. It's in a very central location in Kirkland with tons of parking. Go here! There were 3 stylists working and they were all helping each other to make the salon run smoothly, something you don't often see in any business these days and everyone was sincerely friendly! I’ve been going here since my groupon in 2015 for a wedding and I stayed! Kimberly is amazing! I love how very real and professional she is, she ain’t about to cut me some bangs just because I got into a depressive funk or tried to “reinvent myself” and went dark brown. No. She will give you honest and fabulous advice for your hair and I so appreciated it. Love you Kimberly! Now Haley (sorry Haley if my spelling is wrong!) is a color perfectionist. Actually, an everything perfectionist. Getting her is spa treatment. If you want faster, book Kimberly or maybe Siobhan. Haley takes her time to make sure you are perfect to a T. She is exceptional, and lovely to talk to. And just like Kimberly she cares about my hair so she gives me advice (Loma) on how to keep my hair healthy and she also wouldn’t let me damage my hair just for money.
