My husband and I came into town for vacation and the week leading up he had no time to get a haircut nor shape his beard. I made an appointment online for him the day we flew in and Weldons was amazing. He walked in shaggy and out so handsome but most importantly relaxed! Helen Olivia was his barber and she took the time to consult with him before the appointment to figure out what he actually wanted and did a phenomenal job. He felt comfortable enough with her to try out a new cut and she gave him the confidence that it would come out well and then delivered! Can't say enough good things about the awesome customer service Helen gave us. She even made me feel welcome to sit in back with him while she cut his hair and beard.

The shop is so nice and offers a ton of privacy by providing little cubbies for individual cuts. Genuinely wish more salons would entertain this set up! It made it very personal and like I said soo relaxing.

I'd recommend anyone just popping in for a visit or even for regular appointments to visit Helen. Her attention to detail really made the experience that much better. Genuinely considering flying out when he needs another cut, worth...

Really unprofessional attitude by a barber named Nichy. I went here for the second time to get a skin-fade haircut and had a terrible experience. Nichy got extremely annoyed at even simple questions. When she began cutting my hair I asked “is this going to be skin fade” to which she had a hissy-fit “you need to give me chance! You need to give me a chance! I have been doing this for 35 years all the way from New York! You just sat in my chair! Give me a chance!” Like ftw!? Later on when she began chopping hair at the top she didn’t ask me how much do I want it to be taken off. Most barbers first confirm how much should be taken-off, but not Nichy. So I thought I should just confirm and she had another episode “excuse me? Your hair is curly, if I go any further it will stick out ok? Can I proceed now?” Ok, lmao. So I’ve recently moved to the area, and been to three different barbers already. I have particular requests for somebody that offers a razor fade, and each of the other places said they did it, and then once I sat down in the chair only razored the lower back of my neck. And also charged anywhere from $40-$60. Now I understand that the Seattle area has a higher COLA, and I have no problem paying that if the service is up to par. But I’m not going to pay Seattle prices for basic service, and what I got from Jet at Weldon Barbers was top notch service. He took the time to fix others mistakes, give me a mean bald fade, and an awesome neck and head rub, plus hair wash.
