Wish there were half starsâbut I donât make the Google review rules. The fact is, I donât make any rules except the one that dictates whether or not a meal is worth what I paid for it. This is the basic decision criteria : if I splurge to buy a prepared food, it must taste equal to or better than what it would taste like if I got off my lazy a$$ & made it at home. So in that sense hereâs my review.
Ordered this sammich and a muffin via Ubereats this morning and I must say had I seen the size of this sammich in person I would not have paid $15.89 for it, side salad or not. With that said, this is the best tasting sammich Iâve had in a great long while. The pretzel bun is perfect, ingredients fresh and tasty, and even though the salad is roughly the diameter of a compact disc (remember those), the ingredients are varied enough âŚbut salad could be fresher. Albeit most of the wilted/brown bits are on the bottom so workers may not have seen how unfortunate the salad experience was going to be for whoever tried to eat it. Meh. Donât get me started on the muffin, itâs delicious. So delicious I ate it first and didnât dilly dally around long enough to photograph it. Itâs the blueberry cream cheese muffin, get it, youâll thank me.
Coffee is 5 star for two reasons: because itâs delicious and because I could order a 32 oz iced mocha. Finally, I can justify hopping on the stanley mug fad because this is enough coffee to fill up and itâs delicious enough to warrant carrying around a big ugly modern big gulp cup. They didnât skimp on the coffee ingredients just because itâs big either. Itâs the kind of cup of coffee that makes me wish I lived closer to the coffee shop that made itâŚgood work here, and thatâs how a 3 Star experience turned into a 4 star...
Read moreAny other day I would give them 5 stars and every experience other than today has been amazing! This visit to the drive thru line customer service was horrible! Let me explain that they were not busy! I haven't visited them in a long time as I live in Seattle and usually coming to the Eastside, mercury coffee is my go to treat! They changed the way the line goes for the drive thru and made it to where all vehicles are going in one direction. So when I pulled up, I just pulled up behind the one white SUV that was in line to the right of the building. Being in the place I was the, menu was right at my window! I was excited to see if any new drinks were available! I saw an employee starting to approach my window. I thought she was coming to take my oder. However she was coming to inform me that I'm not observant and I was in the wrong lane! Really?! I said I thought this is a menu and you can order at the window like the car in from of me!? She said no, you didn't see the arrows on the ground and all over guiding me to the right lane!?! I was in disbelief! It really matters what line you go in?! I'M HERE TO SUPPORT A LOCAL BUSINESS AND BUY SOME AMAZING DRINKS! Who cares what line we go in?! I get that we could have been serviced faster going to the other lane as no one was in line, but I wasn't there for speed and wanted to review the menu. Then to be told I'm wrong and to move to the next lane?! I left and as I was in disbelief! I noticed another vehicle pull up and do the same thing I did.. Made me wonder if she went and made them move too?! I ended up going to the big competitor across the street and got some diassappointing hot chocolate! I hope my next visit is more pleasant as I was so disappointed I didn't get to have any amazing...
Read moreTHE STAFF STEALS & UNETHICAL!! AVOID!!
The staff STEALS from customers by ADDING THEIR OWN TIP BY CLICKING THE TIP BUTTON! My husband and I came here for the first time a while ago (& it bugged me enough to come back and write a review only now). He ordered a black coffee and we tapped our cc to pay. At the time, I did notice the staff clicking something on the screen and I thought it was weird. But he quickly walked off after so I didnât even get a chance to ask for the receipt or anything. While waiting to get my drink, I asked my husband how much the coffee was again because the total I paid seemed more than what I thought it would be. When I went forward and picked up the coffee, I asked how much this cup would cost and the staff told me the price. It was confirmed that the precious guy had stolen from me at that point but there was a huge line & I was in a rush so I chose not to hold up the line.
Either way, the whole drive thru process with them coming to the car is very nerve wrecking if youâre doing it for the first time. Theyâre trying to pump as many customers out as possible so there was a sense of urgency (which is good) but not great for first time customers who donât know your products. Also, because of the urgency they have stealing from customers for free tips in something they could do easily & no one would realize or until much later (or even notice!!). Not my first drive thru coffee experience but definitely my worst & last. Youâve...
